La presente exposición reúne la obra de Laura Nieto y Tatiana Blanqué en torno a dos aproximaciones diferenciadas al paisaje natural.
En el trabajo de Laura Nieto, la vegetación adquiere un papel protagonista y se impone con intensidad y fuerza expresiva. Sin embargo, en sus paisajes está siempre presente la huella de lo humano. A través de sus escenas cuestiona la noción misma de paisaje natural y pone de manifiesto la delicada frontera entre lo natural y lo artificial.
Por su parte, Tatiana Blanqué aborda el paisaje desde una dimensión introspectiva, sobria y de contenida expresividad. Frente al ritmo acelerado del ámbito urbano, sus obras encuentran en la naturaleza un espacio de pausa y reflexión. Mediante una estructura compositiva depurada, transmiten serenidad y equilibrio; el entorno natural se convierte así en refugio y ámbito de recogimiento, favoreciendo una mirada sosegada.
Aunque distintas en su sensibilidad, ambas propuestas sitúan la naturaleza en el centro de la experiencia pictórica. La exposición articula un diálogo entre el paisaje como construcción y el paisaje como refugio, ofreciendo dos aproximaciones complementarias a lo natural. Coinciden, asimismo, en reconocer en la naturaleza un territorio de afirmación y observación.
De este modo, la muestra establece un diálogo sereno entre plenitud y silencio, entre intensidad y recogimiento, invitando al espectador a redescubrir el paisaje no solo como motivo pictórico, sino como experiencia esencial y permanente en la tradición artística.
NATURE: PRESENCE AND REFUGE
This exhibition brings together the work of Laura Nieto and Tatiana Blanqué through two distinct approaches to the natural landscape.
In Laura Nieto’s work, vegetation assumes a leading role, asserting itself with intensity and expressive force. Yet within her landscapes, the trace of the human presence is always evident. Through her scenes, she questions the very notion of the natural landscape and reveals the fragile boundary between the natural and the artificial.
Tatiana Blanqué, for her part, approaches landscape from an introspective, sober, and restrained perspective. In contrast to the accelerated rhythm of urban life, her works find in nature a space for pause and reflection. Through a refined compositional structure, they convey serenity and balance; the natural environment thus becomes a refuge and a place of contemplation, encouraging a quiet, attentive gaze.
Although differing in sensibility, both proposals place nature at the center of the pictorial experience. The exhibition articulates a dialogue between landscape as construction and landscape as refuge, offering two complementary approaches to the natural world. Both artists likewise recognize nature as a territory of affirmation and observation.
In this way, the exhibition establishes a serene dialogue between fullness and silence, between intensity and introspection, inviting the viewer to rediscover the landscape not only as a pictorial subject, but as an essential and enduring experience within the artistic tradition.
