The 2026 edition of the Canadian Mechanical and Plumbing Expo (CMPX) promises to bring together the entire HVAC/R, plumbing and water treatment supply chain in one place, featuring more than 500 brands stretching from global leaders to local innovators, all featuring technologies that will be shaping the future of mechanical and plumbing design, installation and service.
Because of its two-year cycle CMPX makes up for lost time by packing a lot into three days. Occupying the South Building at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with its massive below ground trade show floor and plenty of educational break-out room spaces, this year’s event will be hosting over 100 educational opportunities – most of them free with registration.
Jointly produced by the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), CMPX is recognized as an essential industry event designed to lift the overall proficiency of the mechanical industry across the nation.
This gathering provides opportunities for community building, through networking with old friends and making new long-term connections. Together the HVAC/R and plumbing industry across Canada continues to build.
“CMPX 2026 brings more than 13,000 HVAC/R, plumbing and water treatment professionals together in one place,” said Joanna Woo, CMPX Committee Chair for the second time.
“It’s where you’ll see the latest technologies, connect with industry leaders and peers, learn from trusted experts, and prepare your business for what’s next. From strengthening relationships to discovering the innovations shaping our trades, CMPX is where it all happens.”
