The MEET Show proudly showcases the technology driving the mechanical and electrical sectors forward through its biennial Innovation Awards program, which enters its 8th installment for this edition of the show.

With over 18 years of experience in the hydronics industry, Alan Zanidean is the Sales Manager of Axiom Industries, a leading manufacturing company based in Saskatchewan, Canada. His career began as a Sales Representative with a manufacturers’ agent, and he has since ascended to a leadership role with Axiom Industries. Alan is deeply involved in the industry beyond his professional role. He volunteers with the Canadian Hydronics Council, currently serving as Council Chair, a group dedicated to helping advance the hydronics industry.
Dave Holdorf Residential trainer – Eastern region, Taco Inc.
Dave Holdorf is a seasoned Product & Application Instructor at Taco, serving the Eastern North American region. Known for his dynamic teaching style and ability to simplify complex concepts, Dave has helped countless contractors, engineers, and distributors enhance their understanding of modern hydronic and plumbing technologies. Dave works closely with Taco’s education team and supports the company’s commitment to empowering professionals through hands-on training, webinars, and industry events.
Doug Cochrane ASHRAE distinguished lecturer
Doug is currently an independent sustainability consultant, after having spent nearly 30 years in equipment sales for Carrier. Doug is a graduate of Ryerson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario. He is also a LEED AP and has a certificate in sales development from Humber College, and holds the ASHRAE Certified Decarbonization Professional (CDP) certification.
Doug joined ASHRAE in university and has participated in chapter, region, and society activities ever since. He is currently a Director at Large (DAL) on the ASHRAE Board of Directors and is the BOD EXO to the Training and Education Committee on Pub Ed Council.

Forest Flager CEO, Parspec
Forest developed a passion for sustainable design working for his father’s construction business in California, which led him to complete an engineering degree at MIT before joining Ove Arup and Partners in London, UK where he specialized in sports venue design. Forest later pursued a PhD in computational design at Stanford University before joining the faculty of its Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) in 2013. He went on to lead software and design automation at Katerra, a technology driven off-site construction company, before cofounding Parspec in 2021.

Business development manager - Eastern Region, Uponor Ltd.
A 35+ year veteran of the plumbing & heating industry, JeanClaude’s knowledge comes mainly from years of plumbing, heating and industrial specialty sales at the wholesale level, handling anything from plumbing fixtures to heavy industrial applications. Jean-Claude also has experience in technical corporate training for commercial and industrial applications and working with specialized Uponor engineers on some of the most challenging technical applications for PEX in the industry.
Jean-Claude was the national trainer for Uponor for basic and advanced radiant heating and cooling applications and now concentrates on working with engineers and Code officials for promotion and designing commercial and institutional plumbing and hydronic distribution systems in Eastern Canada.
John Goshulak
Vice president of sales and marketing, Weil-McClain Canada Sales Inc.
John is a Professional Engineer working in the hydronic heating industry for almost 40 years. For the past 21 years he has been a part-owner and Vice-President of Weil-McLain Canada, the wholly-owned Canadian master distributor of Weil-McLain boilers and indirect water heaters.
A two-time former chairman of the Canadian Hydronics Council and active as the hydronics representative with both HRAI and AHRI, John has also chaired various CSA councils and marketing initiatives in the industry. For this and other related committee work, John has been recognized with an Award of Merit by the Canadian Hydronics Council and the international Carlson-Holohan Industry Award for Excellence.

Marc-Antoine Vachon Optical designer, Signify
Marc-Antoine Vachon has worked in the lighting industry since 2009, specializing in the design and optimization of outdoor lighting systems. With an academic background in optoelectronics, he brings strong technical expertise to the field of optical engineering and illumination performance. Since 2018, he has been a member of the IES Roadway Lighting Committee, contributing to industry standards and best practices for roadway and outdoor lighting. Marc-Antoine is currently an optical designer within an outdoor R&D team, where he develops next-generation optical systems aimed at improving performance, efficiency, and visual comfort in outdoor lighting applications.
Pierre-Marc Olivier is an experienced lighting industry professional with more than 20 years of technical and commercial expertise in outdoor lighting solutions. PierreMarc has worked across the full spectrum of the lighting ecosystem, holding diverse technical and leadership roles such as photometric technician, technical support, cost analysis, UL/CSA certification expert, technical support team manager, and sales representative. In his current role, PierreMarc focuses on building relationships with municipal and utility’s decisionmakers to promote connected lighting solutions that bring real value to their infrastructure projects.
Sean Giberson Taco Inc.
With over 20 years in the heating and air conditioning industry, Sean leads a team of sales professionals and distributors across the country in delivering hydronic heating solutions to residential and commercial customers.
Sean is passionate about promoting the hydronic heating industry and its benefits to the public and policymakers, having served as the chair of the Canadian Hydronics Council from 2012 to 2014. He has also served as an executive board member of Beautiful Heat, a marketing collaboration launched by 11 heating equipment manufacturers. He currently serves on the CIPH Membership Committee and the CHC Committee, where he continues to support the growth and innovation of the hydronic heating sector.
