Zine: Call of Duty

Page 1

Farah is criminally underdiscussed and underappreciated. She’s a female, Middle Eastern freedom fighter and commander of the (fictional) Urzikstan Liberation Force, though she is inspired by the real life Syrian all-female militia. She is labelled a terrorist by Russian and western forces alike as she seeks sovereignty for her people.

She is a canonical revolutionary with a dedication to her people and her values that trumps almost every single other character in the entire franchise. Farah is the antithesis of all of the racist, sexist, and cruel bigots who play Call of Duty -- and her presence is a beacon for us all to have greater courage, compassion, and integrity.

FARAH KARIM

My mans. The OG. The unkillable legend. The in universe equivalent of those jellyfish that can splice their own DNA and repair it for true immortality.

If those jellyfish had experienced the hell of a Russian Gulag and decided the first thing on the to-do list was firing a nuke at the US. Without informing the rest of his team. :|

Maybe that metaphor’s a bit stretched.

Anyway yeah. He terrifying. He legend. He the true GOAT. -GM
