The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra presents Masterworks II: Dvorák Symphony No. 7
Artistic Director and Conductor José-Luis said “I chose the music for this concert because it feels like the autumnal season. It is full of nostalgia and contemplation. We look back to the past, and think about what the future may bring." The program includes Franz Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture, the Lowell Lieberman Concerto for Cello, and Antonin Dvořák's Symphony No. 7 in D minor. The guest artist is Julian Schwarz, cello. The ASO co-commissioned Lieberman’s Concerto for Cello specifically for Mr. Schwarz.
