Timothy Steenberg Memorial Blood Drive
On Saturday, December 10th from 9:00am-2:00pm there will be a Blood Drive held at the Unyts Southgate Neighborhood Blood Donation Center to honor the memory of Timothy Steenberg.
Tim passed away in March 2016 from a rare degenerative neurological disease. He was a dedicated husband, father, son and brother. Tim’s family always came first, especially his two sons, Timothy and Jeffrey. He also loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Tim was a kind and generous person to all those who knew him! Some called him a gentle giant because he was a big man with an even bigger heart. His giving nature was evident through his dedication to donating blood for many years. Tim would have turned 60 years old this year and his family felt a blood drive held in his name would be the perfect way to honor his legacy.

Cub Scouts Collect Donations for Operation Good Neighbor
Cub scout Pack 578 collected around $500 worth of nonperishable food from Family Dollar in Derby that went directly to Operation Good Neighbor in Evans. Customers and employees were extremely generous in giving food and donations.
