To the residents of the Village of Angola and the Town of Evans: This September 11th 2026 is the 25th anniversary of the attack on the twin towers in New York City that changed our lives forever. It seems every year law enforcement fights a new battle. This year to date sixty-two officers have lost their lives in the line of duty. We have people calling for the killing of police officers. Our officers are being ambushed and murdered. One thing will never change, officers will always respond when someone needs help. I wonder if for these past twenty-five years, those that lived through 911 have been telling their children and grandchildren the history of September 11th 2001 so we will NEVER FORGET what our first responders went through. To all of our Law Enforcement and first responders, your serve our community with courage, valor and unwavering commitment to justice. Our community owes you and your families a debt that can never be repaid. All we can offer you in return for your service and sacrifices is our heartfelt thanks and a promise that those officers who fall in the line of duty SHALL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN (Words from an unknown author). SUMMER CONCERT SERIES As we wrap up another successful summer concert series in the Village of Angola, I want to take a moment to recognize the many people and organizations who made this year possible. First and foremost, thank you to all of our sponsors. Without your generous support, our concert series simply would not be possible. Your continued investment in our community allows us to provide free, family-friendly entertainment and keep this wonderful tradition going.

The crowds and 50/50 drawings were incredible this year. Seeing how much this concert series has grown is truly humbling. The success we have achieved is the result of years of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. This is not about one person. It is about all of you. Everyone who sponsors, volunteers, organizes, sells tickets, helps behind the scenes, or simply shows up to support the concerts has played a part in making this series a success. I could not be more proud of this amazing, hardworking team. Nobody complains—they simply show up, work together, and get the job done. That teamwork and dedication are what make the Angola Summer Concert Series so special. It is also wonderful to see that our reputation has grown to the point where performers and bands want to play in Angola. That speaks volumes about what this committee and our community have created. So, to every sponsor, every committee member, every volunteer, and everyone who has supported us:

Eber Little Inman II
Eber Little Inman II, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to his wife, Carol Inman. He was a dear father to Wendy, Sabrina, and Eber L. III Inman, and a cherished grandfather to his granddaughter, Emaly Inman. Eber proudly served his country as a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force. His commitment to his fellow veterans continued throughout his life as a lifelong member of VFW Post 5798 and NewcombLong American Legion Post 928. Eber will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. The family was present to receive friends Wednesday, September 2, at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc., where prayers were held Thursday, morning. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Hamburg.
