Nominating Petitions for Prospective School Board Members
Nominating Petitions for prospective school board members will be available in the District Clerk’s Office beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. The District Clerk’s Office is located in the Lake Shore High School, 959 Beach Road, Angola, NY. Candidates must enter through the main entrance of the High School.
All Petitions must be filed with the District Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, April 20, 2026 by 5 p.m. Board Elections will be conducted for two (2) seats, both for three-year terms, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those seats are currently held by Michael Franey and Megan Smaldino.

Barbara Kellerman of Brant, NY, passed away Monday February 23, 2026, she was 70. Beloved wife of David Kellerman. Loving mother of Jacob (Wendy) Kellerman, Benjamin (Jenna) Kellerman, Brienne Costello, Elysia (Zachary) Sireika and Gavin (Piper) Kellerman. Sister of Robert (Florence) Hall, Frederick (Cher) Hall, Catherine (Nicholas) Locascio and Sarah (Jamie) Hall-Gruzska. Cherished grandmother of Madeline, Blake, Shay, Teddy and Shepard Kellerman. The family will be present for visitation on Friday from 3PM-7PM at the Addison Funeral Home, Inc. Barbara was the former Deputy Director for the NYS Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped.
