We caught sight of Noah, trekking down Brant-Farnham Road, in Brant, NY. We knew he had left Eden and North Collins a short time earlier. His next stops would be the Seneca Nation and Silver Creek.
January 21st was a wintry day, cold and very, VERY windy, but Noah was not deterred one bit! NY State Troopers and Erie County Sheriffs were providing a police escort to ensure his safety as he ran on the side of the road. It was day 96 of 260, and so far he had traveled a total of 1,830 miles of the 5,500 mile trip!
Noah is inspiring many, young and old alike, with his stamina, determination, patriotism and desire to bring our country closer together. How fortunate that our small town of Brant was on his route! We were able to meet him and chat with him a few minutes.

Nicholas Emhof Named to Dean's List at University of Maryland Global Campus
Nicholas Emhof of Angola was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2025 term at University of Maryland Global Campus. Continuation of time line from 2023. Sorry for the delay!
1907: April 15, 1907 August Falk purchased Lot 31, Section C in the Brant Cemetery for the sum of $14.00. The receipt is signed by Milford Calkins, Treasurer.
1914: Mark Crawford is the Mayor of Farnham. The projects completed during his service include a water system, fire hall, brick roads and an athletic field.
1914: Salvatore and Mary Sedita owned and operated a blacksmith shop on the site of our present Brant Post Office from 1914 through 1922. They donated the ironwork found on the cross located in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Brant-Farnham Road.
1914: The Ellis Canning Factory located on the *Grannis Road, was operated by the Ellis brothers under the presidency of Samuel Ellis. The company was in business from 1901 to 1924. The factory hired about 75 workers of Italian descent, who helped in the processing of strawberries, apples, tomatoes and pears. It was destroyed by fire in 1924. (*Grannis Road, named after J.W. Grannis, who owned large amounts of land there, was later changed to Ellis Road because of the location of the canning factory there.)
