IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING

BULK PICK-UP

Bulk Pick-Up is the last FULL week of each month on your designated garbage day. Those weeks for the duration of 2026 are as follows:

January 26th - 30th February 23rd - 27th March 23rd - 27th April 20th - 24th May 25th - 29th*

Note: Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, pick-up with be delayed one day. Monday pick-up will be bumped to Tuesday, Tuesday pick-up will be bumped to Wednesday, etc.

July 20th - 24th August 24th - 28th September 21st - 25th October 26th - 30th November 23rd - 27th*

Note: Due to the Thanksgiving Day Holiday, Thursday pick-up will be bumped to Friday, Friday pick-up will be bumped to Saturday

All immunizations must be acquired by the start of school in September. Students without required immunizations will not be permitted to start school.

In the event that by the last Friday in May, that there are more registrations for UPK than there are slots; a random lottery will take place in a public format. Student names will be placed in a container and pulled at random until all slots are filled. Twins/students in the same household will be allowed to enroll together. The lottery will be announced if it is anticipated to be needed.

Parents and entering students will be invited to visit classrooms before the start of the school year. We look forward to seeing you!

Lake (Evans-Brant Shore Central Central Schools School District) Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 School Year Children enrolling in Kindergarten in the Lake Shore Central School District as of September 2026 should register before March 6, 2026. The school district will conduct Kindergarten Registration as outlined below.

• To be enrolled in the September 2026 Kindergarten class, a child living in the Lake

Shore Central School District must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2026 pursuant to §7120 of the Lake Shore CSD Policy Manual and NYS Education Department regulations.

• Proof of age is required at the time of registration. A birth certificate, baptismal

record, or a passport will serve as adequate proof of age. Utility bills, unaltered driver’s license or pay stub will serve as adequate proof of residency.

• All immunizations must be acquired by the start of school in September. Students without required immunizations will not be permitted to start school.
