Morning Intramurals Popular With Students At JT Waugh Elementary
The fourth and fifth-grade students of J.T. Waugh Elementary have the option to participate in a morning Intramural program. The activities take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:35 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. The students look forward to this program each year as they build their knowledge of teamwork, sportsmanship, sports knowledge, tolerance, and so much more.
30 to 40 students participate in the Intramural program on a regular basis and are committed to the program. During Intramurals students participate in Ultimate Football, Floor Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, Capture the Flag, Handball, Kickball, and Baseball.

Seniors welcome juniors as upperclassmen, “pass the torch” to the next senior class
Juniors at Immaculata Academy were officially welcomed as upperclassmen during Immaculata’s annual Ring Day ceremony on December 8th, while also celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
In receiving a school ring, students pledge to reflect the high standards of their Franciscan Catholic education and promise loyalty during their years as alumnae as part of the Immaculata sisterhood.
Each ring features an image of the Blessed Mother Mary, tying the girls to the school and each other, and students could customize the ring with emblems representing clubs and sports in which they participated.

Boy and cub scouts from Troop 578 visited Steeple View apartments to spread the Christmas cheer through song. They donned Santa hats, played the bells and sang a variety of popular Christmas carols. Mr. Panfil led them in song while accompanying them with a guitar. We hope the residents had as good a time as we did.
