FOREWORD Anglicare Victoria works to build safe, resilient communities where children, young people, and families are strong and empowered. Our core focus is: supporting and strengthening families, children and young people, and striving to overcome disadvantage. We recognise that families’ lives are complex and that making a meaningful difference increasingly means focussing on the broad range of services that will help them reach their goals. The future will see us expand our core services to meet the needs of a growing population as well as responding to pressing issues like family violence, disaster and climate stress, cost of living and housing pressures. Listening to our clients and what they tell us about how their lives and circumstances underpins this strategy. At the same time, we will continue to draw on the evidence and our own experiences to effectively address our shared challenges and deliver a happy, more peaceful and safe future for our children. By 2030, AV will have made clear steps toward our vision of better tomorrows, as one of Australia’s leading child and family services, delivering effective, innovative services and driving much-needed sector and policy reform. Together, we are building better tomorrows. Starting today.
