Inspired by the shifting beauty of the Torbay coastline, the collection transforms the retreat’s refined seaside setting into a living gallery— one that gently guides guests toward calm, reflection, and renewal

Layered textures, expressive brushwork, and a palette drawn from deep waters, burnished light, and storm-touched skies evoke the elemental rhythm of the sea. As an abstract artist based in Devon, Angela’s work channels the mystery, energy and beauty of the natural world. Her bold, contemporary artwork sparkles, reflecting iridescent light and adapting to surroundings as if alive with the rhythms of nature.

Using impasto techniques to create textured depth, Angela typically works with acrylic, ink and gold (gede) leaf often with a varitey of tools such as spatulas and rollers, blending elemental textures with luminous vibrancy. She also paints with coffee.
