UPDATE FROM ANDREWS

Dear family members and friends of Andrews Senior Care,

We are pleased to share that our Family Advisory Council officially launched in December

There are currently three regional councils to ensure representation across all homes:

One for the Summerside region homes

One for the Charlottetown/Stratford homes

One for the Moncton (Protem) homes

The Family Advisory Council brings together family members from each region to partner with leadership in strengthening quality of care, resident safety, and overall experience The Council provides a dedicated forum for families to share feedback, ideas, and recommendations that help guide our ongoing quality improvement work.

The council meets quarterly, and key themes and recommendations are formally shared with our Quality Improvement and Risk Committee and leadership team We are committed to transparency and will begin posting updates on quality improvement initiatives and actions taken as a result of FAC meetings in upcoming newsletters and on our family information screens

We thank our council members for their time, insight, and commitment to enhancing care across our homes.

Sincerely,

S P E C I A L M U S I C A L G U E S T

Pianist and composer Danny Carroll recently played two of our homes (Andrews of Stratford and Andrews of Charlottetown). Danny is an accomplished musician from Winnipeg, Man Our residents loved his performances, which blended jazz favourites, famous pieces from acclaimed musicals as well as a few of his own compositions

Chair yoga is a regular part of fitness programming at Andrews of Charlottetown. Led by activity director Jackie, it’s an excellent way to introduce movement and is something most residents can do, regardless of their mobility
