The Love Living Here Community Plan was first developed in 2017 after extensive consultation with and in partnership between our community and key statutory agencies. The plan provided a road map and a framework of how our community groups and key stakeholders could work towards a better Borough; a Borough in which our citizens could live, work and enjoy.
Since 2017, there have been a number of global events that have dramatically influenced our Borough and society in general. The Covid-19 pandemic had a major effect on the economic, social and general health and wellbeing of people
across the Borough. This was followed by the ‘Cost of Living Crisis’ which has led to increased prices on household essentials, including food, utilities, mortgages and rents.
The Community Planning Partnership sought to respond to this new environment by taking the opportunity to assess and revise the Love Living Here Plan to better address the challenges which our citizens now face. This revised delivery plan takes cognisance of
