Neighborhood Clean-Up Program
Join your neighbors for some cleaning to make your neighborhood a better place! The City of Anaheim can provide large dumpster bins to your neighborhood once a year for FREE. The Neighborhood Clean-up program provides residents an opportunity to dispose of large items that do not fit in conventional trash containers. COMMUNITY DONATIONS
The ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION donated $130 to support supplies used at the Central Library for the Adult and Volunteer programs.
FRIENDS OF THE ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY contributed $1,500 to the Arabic Storytime at Haskett Branch Library and to purchase Braille books for the Library Division.
FRIENDS OF CANYON LIBRARY received $1,172 in donations for the STEAM and Children’s programs at Canyon Hills Branch Library.
Oak Canyon Nature Center received monetary donations totaling over $100 from the FRIENDS OF OAK CANYON NATURE CENTER to support its nature programs.
IN-KIND DONATIONS
BERTA CRUZ FARIAS, a Community Resident, donated 15 pairs of Vans worth $562.50 for the Miraloma Mommy and Me class and Health Fair.
CAROLINA’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT donated to the Central Library with children’s certificates valued at $4,240, good for one free spaghetti and meatball meal for children ages 0-12
DENISE BARNES contributed food products valued at over $1,277 to the Active Older Adults Program at Brookhurst Community Center for the OC Meals on Wheels program.
Youth Programs received 80 boxes of Marvel Carter Shields from DISNEYLAND RESORT, valued at $32,000.
DWELLING PLACE ANAHEIM has donated over $469,000.00 in produce, protein, dairy, breads, and desserts to over 1,100 Anaheim families.
MINISTERIO CRISTIANO CAMINANDO EN FE donated 215 pairs of Nike Dunk and Nike Low Retro shoes for Miraloma Community kids and teens returning to school, valued at $900.
THE OLD SPAGHETTI FACTORY donated 1,000 coupons for free kids’ meals, valued at $8 each, to programs at Oak Canyon Nature Center.
SADDLEBACK CHRISTIAN CHURCH provided name-brand backpacks and school supplies valued at $2,700 for the Miraloma Back-toSchool giveaway event.
VALENTIN LECHUGA, a Community Resident, donated $562.50 worth of Van shoes for the Miraloma children in the STARS program.
