Library Project
Design ll - Spring Semester 2025
This core & shell exercise was meant to emphasize the use of structural steel, meaning only the envelope, floors, structural systems and vertical circulation was considered for this project. Columns and beams support the L-shaped building with a decorative “ribbon” like steel frame on the exterior, creating a captivating shell and shadow.

Design l - Fall Semester 2024
For this project, I was commissioned to re-design an existing residential community in the SW Waterfront district of Washington, DC. I wanted to create a rotating building that pushed me to create unique floor plans that contort around the center elevator and stairwell.

Design l - Fall Semester 2024
For this project, I was commissioned to design a private residence for a 30 year old textile artist who is single with no children, but loves to entertain. A spacious rooftop deck and loft-like primary suite are a few quality features of the house. Emphasizing private and public spaces was one of the main focuses for this project.

Analytique Project
Foundations in Design l - Fall Semester 2023
Douglass Hall is an educational building on Howard University's Campus. Students who attended the architecture program there, like me, had to take rough measurements of the building to create a Floor Plan, Elevation, and Section. All of which had to be placed in an abstract manner, but fluent enough for the audience to understand.

Shelter Project
Foundations in Design l - Fall Semester 2023
This shelter project is made to house 4 people. A nonpermanent structure that should consider the surroundings; a community park. Privacy from street and a walkway for the pedestrians from the street to get to the park were all taken into consideration. Comfort and seclusion were key factors in my design process.
