Chiminike Visits Pre-School (PS) Pre-school students had an amazing visit from Chiminike staff who came to AST to teach our eagles about the environment and how to protect it. They learned about cleaning the oceans, taking care of the forest, recycling, among others. It was a great experience in which pre-school students had a lot of fun! Thank you Chiminike!

Día del Idioma Español Celebration With¿ the objective of spreading the history, culture and use of the Language, the Spanish Department celebrated the Day of the Language and the Day of the Book with meaningful activities. The activities will culminate with the presentation of the Middle School Wax Museum and the Oedipus Rex Work prepared by the 10th grade students, on May 16th. Congratulations!
Delicious cookies were provided by our Dining Hall to commemorate this special day!

The club recognizes and nurtures youth empowerment in order to help create a world where global citizenry is championed by today’s youth.

ABSH Volleyball, San Pedro Sula Congratulations to our ABSH teams for their outstanding participation in the ABSH Volleyball tournament 2019 in San Pedro Sula. Our teams demonstrated great sportsmanship and fought until the end like true warriors!
Congratulations to Juve girls who finished in 3rd place, and Infa boys who end up in 4th place!

GIN initiatives (PE Uniforms Donation & Recycle Electronics)
All the initiatives carried out by our Global Issues Network (GIN) have been a HUGE success this year. The last two have made a great impact on our environment and society. 1. GIN made a donation of P.E. uniforms to a school in Amapala. 2. As part of the Good Deeds Day they made a campaign to recycle electronics.
AST students, staff and parents have proven to be ‘‘globally responsible citizens’’ this school year. CONGRATS!

Alumni Corner In Memoriam: Emanuela Brecciaroli (’85) and Gerardo Reyes (’82) It is with a heavy heart that we share with the AST Family the passing of Alumni EMANUELA BRECCIAROLI (Class of 1985), and GERARDO REYES ‘‘El Flaco’’ (Class of 1982). They were amazing people who were loved and appreciated by all their classmates and teachers. Our condolences and prayers go out to their families. May they rest in peace!
