Kinder tie day (ps) Did you know that ties are the most famous gift given on Father's Day… Last Friday, Kinder students put on their best tie and had a fun Tie Day while learning the letter ‘‘T’’. Different colors, figures, and even animated cartoons displayed in their ties. Great way to start the year Kinder!

Elementary Stuco Eagle mural (eS) Âż
Elementary Stuco started off the year with an artistic wall created by the national artist, CARIQUI. The wall art was inspired on our school mascot, the mighty eagle. Students had the opportunity of painting with the artist and learning his techniques. Come, check it out and take a picture with this incredible Mural. Way to go Mini STUCO!
Cariqui is a Honduran artist most known for his Graffiti technique. He started painting when he was a young kid and has been growing as an artist throughout his life. His most notable paintings are the murals in Valle de Angeles, Cantarranas and Barrio la Hoya in Tegucigalpa.

Alumni Corner Angélica díaz del valle (1997) Alumna Angélica Díaz del Valle, Senior 1997. AST’s Dining Hall Manager since 2011. Angélica studied Business Administration at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH) and Hotel Management in Les Roches Marbella, Spain. After graduating from Les Roches, Angélica carried out an internship in 5 star Resort Villa Cortes in Tenerife, Spain in the Food and Beverage department. Her work experience includes Operation Manager in Hotel Alameda, Tegucigalpa, Restaurant La Florencia, Hospitality and Tourism Professor at Unitec. In 2009 she had the opportunity to travel with Unitec students to Sao Paulo, Brazil where they got a chance to course Hotel Management classes. Angélica is a proud Eagle who works each day to bring excellent Dining Hall services to the AST community and outstanding management skills. Congratulations Angelica and thank you for your hard work you are an Eagle Pride!
