First Grade Science Club First grade Science Club made spinners (using an old cd) and paper airplanes as part of their yearly STEAM activities! Recycling works ‘‘Science Wonders’’

STUCO Thanksgiving Luncheon Wednesday afternoon STUCO united Middle and High school students & several members of our staff to celebrate Thanksgiving. This traditional luncheon is a great way for our students to thank all of their collaborators and get everybody pepped up for Christmas!

Bencaleth Thanksgiving Visit and Lunch Year after year, Bencaleth Club celebrates Thanksgiving with the Bencaleth patients, by providing them with a delicious lunch, great music, and a lot of love! Bencaleth is a governmental organization that takes care of patients with muscular dystrophy. Kudos to Bencaleth Club!

Bible Study Club Thanksgiving Celebration Bible Club celebrated Thanksgiving by visiting the Asilo de Ancianos Salvador Aguirre. Our students prepared lunch, gifts and shared a joyful moment with the elderly. It was a great activity from part of the Bible Club and their advisor Ms. Dulce Lรณpez!

Alumni Corner Elizabeth Vinelli (’78) Alumna Liz Vinelli is the Executive Director of Teletón, and has had a long career in the medical field. Liz earned her Doctor degree in UNAH. After graduating from AST, Class of 1978, she got her MBA from INCAE, and is certified in Transfusional Medicine from Royal College of Physicians in Edinburg, Scotland. She is also certified as quality audit, and quality manager from the American Society of Quality. In 2007, SUMMA magazine selected her as one of the 75 great executives of the region. She worked as Director of the National Blood Program in the Honduran Red Cross. Now, she is doing an extraordinary job leading Teletón, as their big fundraising event is coming December 7th, and 8th. Teletón contributes to the rehabilitation of thousandths of Hondurans focused on improving the quality of life of people living with physical disabilities, their families and with the solidarity of society. We congratulate Liz for her hard work, and invite everyone to support this great cause Teletón! #proudeagle
