Pre-School Peace Day Assembly
P re-School students celebrated Peace Day with an amazing assembly. Elementary Cheerleaders, and a group of 4th grade students made beautiful presentations in order to honor Peace Day. WAY TO GO PS!
A group of 6th graders read positive and kind messages to our Pre- School students. Thank You!!

Elementary School Pinwheels Elementary School students visited the school’s Peace Pole and made pin wheels to celebrate International Peace Day, September 21st. The Pin wheels will be exhibited in the Character ED bulletin board located in the Elementary building outside Ms. Nena Alvarado’s class.

Middle School Students Peace Sign As part of the Character Ed activities, Ms. Nena Alvarado planned to take some photos and videos of our Middle School students making the word ‘‘PEACE’’ and a heart using just the students. Beautiful activity and great results!
Special thanks to our senior (’19) Felipe Kafie who was in charge of flying the Drone to take the pictures and Video.

Adolescence Talk C
Mrs. Marielos Quesada gave a conference to Middle School
parents, ’’Adolescence’’. In this talk, they learned about the changes, and problems that students and teenagers have at that age. Be kind, it’s the eagle way! Next Character Ed. Parent presentation is Wednesday, September 26!

Master Class Public Speaking Conference - IMPACT Alumna Denise Vargas (’90) did a workshop for our students who belong to our student debate clubs. It was an incredible experience for our eagles to learn and gain skills on how to talk in public from our Alumna. Thank You Denise!

PTO Father & Son Soccer Tournament PTO organized the Father & Son Soccer Tournament last Saturday. It was an amazing event with a lot of fun for all our students and parents. Thank You PTO!
Elementary STUCO participated in the event by bringing the soccer players of Olimpia and Motagua for photos and autographs with the kids!

Alumni Corner Pedro José Espinosa (‘18) Recent graduate, alumni Pedro José Espinosa is going to represent our country next month in the equestrian Youth Olympic Games. Pedro, who has been passionate about horses all his life, is living the dream by competing in the world’s largest multi-sport youth event in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October. Pedro have made the grade after a series of tough global qualifiers to compete against other young riders from 30 different nations. Pedro has represented Honduras in the equestrian modality several times the most recent in the Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe in Barranquilla, Colombia. We wish Pedro the best of luck, and we are proud to say he is an eagle! #ProudEagle #ProudHonduran
