Pre-School Peace day assembly (ps) Pre-school celebrated Peace Day with an assembly organized by the Character Ed. Department. The assembly included our ES Cheerleaders, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica students performing Bombas as well as a myriad of messages and skits to promote PEACE!

Elementary school Peace Day (es) Elementary school enjoyed Peace Day with drawings, picture taking and learning about the Peace Pole in the Elementary School Plaza which is written in four different languages and means ‘‘May Peace Prevail on Earth’’. Way to go Elementary!

AASCA MS LEADERSHIP cONFERENCE(ms) Ten Middle School leaders represented AST during last week’s AASCA Middle School Leadership Conference in San Pedro Sula. Congratulations to our eagles! We look forward to the work they will be carrying out this school year with their chosen community improvement plan: ‘‘Stress Management for Middle School Students’’. GO EAGLES!

FRENCH CREPeS SALE for Limรณn, HONDURAS Last Friday, French teacher and students had a crepes sale in order to raise funds to an orphanage in El Limรณn, Colรณn. Our students demonstrated great cooking skills and did delicious crepes guided by chef from the Alianza Francesa! Kudos to Ms. Stephanie Brunot (11th and 12th grade French teacher) for this great initiative!
