Tasu Club – End of the Year Lunch Mrs. Marielos Quesada, and Ms. Nena Alvarado (Tasu Advisors) organized the end of the year lunch with the Tasu members. They enjoyed delicious ‘‘Crunchy Tacos’’ catered by our Dining Hall, and shared laughter and memories.

Solidarity Club Solidarity Club visited the ‘‘Hogar los Ángeles’’ in Valle de Angeles. They brought lunch, basic food supplies, and a lot of joy. Thank you for all your support Solidarity Club.

K’awill Initiative K’awill House had the initiative of visiting the elderly at the ‘‘Asilo de Ancianos San Felipe’’ They brought some gifts, and food. It was an unforgettable experience for our members. Way to go K’awil!!

NHS & NJHS Induction Wednesday night, our students who have worked hard to established their highest levels in the five NHS & NJHS pillars: scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship, entered this honor society. CONGRATULATIONS to all!!

Extracurricular Music Presentations
Our Pre School and Elementary students who participated in the school’s extracurricular program showcased their talent in the End of the Year concert night. Students played the songs they learned throughout the whole year. We are proud to say that Eagles are full of talent!

Seniors Last Assembly Seniors 2018 had their last assembly as high school students. Students that stood out during the whole year were awarded in different categories.

Hat Exchange Seniors 2018 welcomed the new Seniors, Class of 2019 in the Hat Exchange activity. It was very emotional with tears, laughter, and nostalgia. ‘‘Here’s looking to a great Senior Year 2019!’’

Alumni Corner GERARDO ZABLAH (’05) AlumnI Gerardo Zablah (’05) is on his way to becoming a very prominent Doctor. After his graduation from AST, Gerardo graduated with a Medical Degree from UNAH, in Honduras. In 2013, he went to the Kaplan Medicine Licensing to get his medical license. Two years later, he started working at the Texas Heart Institute as Research Associate for almost a year before going to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He has been in the Jackson memorial since 2016, and now he was selected as one of the Chief Medical Residents of the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, position which starts June 2019-June 2020 at the VA Hospital and he will be applying to Cardiology Fellowship afterwards. We congratulate Jerry in all his success, and we know he is soon to be one of the best doctors of his generation. #ProudEagle
