Pre-School Independence Day Parade
P re-School students celebrated Independence Day with an amazing parade. Cheerleaders, Palillonas, National Heroes displayed patriotism in the 197 independence anniversary celebration. WAY TO GO PS!

Elementary ‘‘Día del Niño’’ Our Elementary School, led by Principal Mrs. Lourdes Vides, celebrated Honduran Children’s Day by giving Ice Cream popsicles to all the ES students! ‘‘Only where children gather is there any real chance of fun’’ – Mignon McLaughlin

Elementary Independence Day Assembly National Heroes and the famous ‘‘Bombas’’ were some of the highlights of the ES Spanish Department Independence Day Assembly. It was a lot of fun and a time for our students to show their patriotism.
Congratulations to our ES Spanish Department for putting together this amazing assembly!
Special thanks to the Caballeros Cadetes de la Academia Militar Francisco Morazán for their time, and the great performance in the Assembly.

STUCO Fiesta Catracha
STUCO celebrated Independence Day with the annual Fiesta Catracha. The assembly was organized and lead by students. Leadership and Patriotism were displayed in every stand. Congratulations STUCO!

CIS College Fair Representatives from 24 different Universities came to our school to talk about their University, and to give conferences to our students, teachers, and parents.
The Ballet Nacional Garifuna made a demonstration of their dances and songs to our guests.

Hospital María Día del Niño STUCO decided to celebrate Día del Niño with gifts and candy bags to the patients of Hospital María de Especialidades Pediátricas. Beautiful activity from our STUCO team!

Alumni Corner Anabelle Rivera (86’) Alumna Anabelle Rivera is one of the most patriotic citizens of our beautiful Honduras. Graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., Anabelle shows the beauty of Honduras each week in short documentaries called Orgullosamente Catrachos. Anabelle has traveled to every corner of Honduras to discover and show the beauty that Honduras has to offer to all the world. With more than 100,000 followers in her Facebook page, she has received several awards like the youngest creative in Premios Copan, and she received the Key from the Governor of Santa Cruz de Yojoa. Anabelle inspires others to travel and love Honduras not only in her docuemntaries, but as a conferencist, and motivates the younger generations to love their country. #ProudEagle #ProudHonduran #orgullosamentecatracho
