Día del Idioma Assembly We celebrated Día del Idioma with an assembly where we recognized the students that won the competitions of Cuento, Ortografía, and Poesía in their Spanish Class. We also gave award to the students that received academic excellence awards in their Social Studies class CONGRATULATIONS!

Jumanji Music Festival AST’s Musical ‘‘Jumanji’’ was amazing! For three days the cast performed this Musical to more than 800 people. CONGRATULATIONS to all our students that participated in this great event, we are so proud of you!
Kudos to our teachers Mrs. Natalie Arguello, Ms. Sofia Fléfil, and Mrs. Michelle Schneider for organizing this event, and also to all our teachers that participated in the musical. You made an outstanding job!

STUCO Recognition
Student Council was recognized with the National Gold Council of Excellence Award 2018 by the National Association of Student Councils for a second time in a row!

Friday morning our soon to be Middle Schoolers celebrated International Fair with presentations from different countries from all over the world. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, it was amazing!

Bible Club End of the Year Visit
For the the fourth consecutive year, Bible Club visited ‘‘Hogar de Angeles’’ in Valle de Angeles. These very young members, donated food baskets for this institution that homes mentally challenged citizens. Our little ones delivered cupcakes and many smiles.

Alumni Corner KARLA TOLEDO (’10) Alumna Karla Toledo (’10) is a reference of the good manners and etiquette in Honduras. After her graduation from AST she went to Instituto Polimoda in Florence, Italy to get a bachelors in Marketing and Fashion Communications. Later, she got a Masters in Administration of Luxury and Fashion Brands in Instituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy. Inspired by the Italian culture she decided to take some courses in ‘‘Bureau du Style’’ with Nicola Santini and in the Etiquette School of New York. Recently she has finished a course in Image Consulting and Personal Shopper with Elle magazine and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
