4th Grade Micah Project Each Friday people from Micah go out to the streets to make relationships with the kids that live on the streets and hope they will decide to move to the Micah house. Our fourth grade students prepare delicious meals each Friday for these kids thereby supporting the Micah Project!

Math Counts, El Salvador (Middle School) Our Math Counts club went to San Salvador to represent our school in the Math Relay competition 2019. ‘‘Our eagles were exposed to the rigors of the competition and were able to acquire much experience.’’ R. Belgrave, MS Principal

Lead Conference, Washington D.C. (Middle & High School)
Members of NJHS, NHS, and Student Council, as well as Advisors Ms. Karen Hesse, and Mr. Javier Tamashiro attended the Lead Conference in Washington D.C. In these conferences students and advisors sharpen their leadership skills to improve the school culture and community while networking with people from other countries.

Our students led a workshop and presented their activity ‘‘NJHS Mini Camp’’ to many different people.

Global Vision International (GVI) Club For two consecutive Saturdays GVI Club helped Elisheva Foundation to paint walls and murals in the new community center which will be home to minors of very low resources or who have been sexually abused. Thank you and Excellent Initiative GVI!
Elisheva Foundation prevents child sex abuse, and helps pregnant girls with education, as well as with their musical and artistic development.
