The American Air Mail Society (AAMS), founded in 1923, is the largest aerophilatelic organization in the world. It is a volunteer-driven organization for collectors passionate about the study, preservation and communication of information regarding aerophilately —stamps, covers, and postal history associated with airmail. The AAMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and has published its bimonthly glossy magazine, THE AIRPOST JOURNAL, continuously since 1929. Members, whether print or e-subscribers, receive six issues of the magazine annually in addition to other benefits, including members-only events, an annual convention held for over 100 consecutive years, and much more.
