The 16 homes represented in this Park City Area Showcase of Homes started simply as an idea that was put on paper and ultimately constructed as you see today. Every one of these homes is unique. Each of them was a labor of love. These homes are a beautiful culmination of months of challenging work. None of this would be possible without the willing participation of each owner, so thank you. Custom home building is not an easy undertaking from any perspective, but as a participant, you will see some of the best this area offers.
Each year, it is a crapshoot on how many applications we receive for homes, and this year was no different. Home applications came in at the 11th hour, homes had to be withdrawn from the Showcase due to progress, and homes were barely completed before opening weekend. Sounds stressful, right? Well, it is! I can tell you from experience it is no small task to achieve 16 homes. Thank you to all my team members sitting on my Showcase of Homes committee and the fantastic Executive Officer of the PCAHBA. Their active participation, assistance, and commitment are the reason we can continue, year after year, to put on a remarkable Showcase of Homes. Twenty-one years ago, Big Canyon Homes joined up with Make-a-Wish Foundation to sponsor a 5-year-old boy with leukemia who wanted to be a cowboy. Since then, helping those in need and giving back to our community has been a big part of Big Canyon Homes.
In 2021 Big Canyon Homes took a step further and started the Big Canyon Homes Foundation. We are thrilled to say every penny donated and raised for the foundation goes to people in need.
