Message from THE U.S. EMBASSY
Upon arriving in Denmark in October 2025 and presenting my credentials to His Majesty the King, one of my first priorities was engaging with the American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark. The programs and engagements organized by and for this remarkable professional network are impressive. AmCham Denmark is undoubtably an asset to our bilateral trade and investment relationship.
Prior to becoming Ambassador, my private sector career centered on the intersection of breakthrough technologies and global finance. I have been impressed with the strong and sustained focus on innovation and the partnership between Denmark and so many American companies. Danish leadership in areas such as digitalization, quantum technologies, life sciences, and robotics makes Denmark a natural and highly valued partner for the United States in shaping the next generation of industrial and technological development.
This cooperation builds on a strong and decades-long foundation. This year marks 225 years of uninterrupted diplomatic relations between our countries, one of the longest such relationships the United States has, and is the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States. I am excited that our economic ties are stronger than ever as we mark these milestones.
“ The Embassy has no better partner in building ties between U.S. and Danish business than AmCham Denmark.”
We are moving beyond traditional trade toward integrated industrial partnerships, where Danish manufacturing and R&D thrive in the United States and American ingenuity and investment here helps power Danish growth. Danish companies now rank among the leading foreign investors in the United States, while American companies play a vital role in Denmark’s economy, innovation ecosystem, and job creation.
The Embassy has no better partner in building ties between U.S. and Danish business than AmCham Denmark. We greatly value our close cooperation and look forward to building on it in the years ahead.
Kenneth A. Howery U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark
Message from THE DANISH EMBASSY
Denmark and the United States have for decades shared a close and forwardlooking partnership grounded in common values and a shared commitment to strong transatlantic ties, open markets, and innovation. This partnership continues to be essential for us.
The US continues to offer significant opportunities for Danish companies and remains Denmark’s largest export market. The U.S. is a key destination for Danish investment, and Danish companies keep contributing to job creation, technological advancement, and green transition across the US.
AmCham Denmark plays a vital role in strengthening this transatlantic relationship and economic ties. Through its close cooperation with the Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C., and AmCham Denmark’s sister organization, the American-Danish Business Council, AmCham provides an important platform for dialogue, advocacy, and collaboration between Danish and American stakeholders. This cooperation helps ensure that companies on both sides of the Atlantic are well positioned to navigate each other’s markets.
“ The U.S. is a key destination for Danish investment, and Danish companies keep contributing to job creation, technological advancement, and green transition across the US.”
I greatly value this partnership and AmCham Denmark’s dedication to strengthening and expanding ties between Denmark and the US. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation in support of Danish and American businesses and transatlantic prosperity.

TORE VON WÜRDEN
We find ourselves in a period where collaboration and strong advocacy are particularly important. AmCham Denmark’s work as the voice of international business is essential for navigating today’s complex transatlantic landscape.
Our focus remains on advancing a robust policy agenda, working closely with Danish policymakers, the U.S. and Danish Embassies to create the best possible framework conditions for international businesses to succeed and grow.
AmCham Denmark provides exactly what matters most during such times - a trusted platform where business and policy converge in constructive dialogue. None of this would be possible without our dedicated Board of Directors, whose strategic guidance shapes our direction, and our committed partners, whose support enables our work.
Most importantly, I would like to extend a sincere thanks to all our members. Your passion and engagement form the foundation of everything we do.
I am energized by the work ahead and look forward to working with you in the year to come.

There has never been a more important time to be part of the AmCham Denmark community.
We find ourselves in a period of heightened focus on the U.S. Danish relationship, and companies on both sides of the Atlantic are navigating greater volatility and uncertainty. The U.S.-Danish business and investment relationship remains fundamentally strong but must navigate these headwinds.

AmCham members benefit from timely insights, curated networks, and direct connections with peers and policy makers.
Periods of stability can make networks feel optional, but periods of uncertainty reveal their true value. In 2026, we will continue to strengthen our programming, policy engagement, and member services to help our members manage change and identify new opportunities. I encourage you to make full use of your
