MISSION STATEMENT Ambrose University is a Christ-centred educational community that forms students intellectually and spiritually, prepares them for vocational success, and empowers them for redemptive engagement with the Church for the world.

THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC NARRATIVE In April 2029, Ambrose University will be a flourishing, Christ-centred academic community with increasing student enrolment, thriving campus life, and growing engagement with external partners. Its facilities will reflect increasing excellence and sustainability. Students, staff, and faculty will continue to experience holistic growth as faith and learning intersect in classroom and co-curricular spaces. A culture of courageous and caring dialogue will strengthen understanding, compassion, and shared purpose across all disciplines. Ambrose University will be widely recognized for its rigorous academic programs, outstanding ministry and seminary education, and exemplary graduates impacting their fields with wisdom, integrity, and purpose. Financial stability will be achieved through increased enrolment, diverse revenue streams, and a dynamic advancement team. Generous donor partnerships will fuel continual investment in people, programs, and technology. A strong, interconnected alumni network will amplify the university mission, sharing powerful stories of transformation. In every sphere, Ambrose University will embody a bold, faithful presence—cultivating minds, shaping character, and impacting the world for Christ.
THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC GOAL 1 By April 2029, Ambrose will have enhanced its flourishing campus environment measured by more diverse programming, growing student body, strengthened quality facilities, and more robust active engagement from both internal and external communities, including churches.
THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC GOAL 2 By April 2029, Ambrose will have a richer student, staff, and faculty life marked by deep spiritual and intellectual development, faith journeys integrated into academic and co-curricular life, and a culture that fosters courageous and caring dialogue on challenging topics.
THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC GOAL 3 By April 2029, Ambrose will have established a stronger reputation for its rigorous academic university programs, robust ministry and seminary programs, faculty achievements, and successful graduate outcomes.
THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC GOAL 4 By April 2029, Ambrose will have a stable financial position through a combination of increasing enrolment, diverse revenue streams, and a fully staffed advancement team that regularly connects with key donors supporting growing investment in facilities, programs, and technology.
THREE-YEAR STRATEGIC GOAL 5 By April 2029, Ambrose will have developed a stronger, more engaged alumni program regularly sharing stories of impact in students’ lives and the larger university.
CORE VALUES Christian Faith • We believe that Christ is the centre of what we do. We seek to live lives devoted to serving Christ, and we pursue His will with bold confidence in His sovereign power and purposes. • We are ecumenically minded, broadly evangelical, and rooted in the holiness traditions of The Alliance Canada and the Church of the Nazarene Canada. • We believe that every person is created in the image of God and worthy of dignity and respect. • We integrate faith and learning and anchor our teaching and research within the Christian intellectual and spiritual tradition.
