For more than 30 years, The Pride Center of New Jersey (PCNJ) has helped foster connection, belonging, and community for LGBTQ+ people across New Jersey. As a fully volunteer-led organization, PCNJ creates welcoming spaces where individuals can build meaningful social connections, explore identity, and engage with community in an inclusive and affirming environment.
Through the dedication of our volunteers, community partners, and supporters, PCNJ has grown into a trusted community hub offering peer-based support, social programming, youth spaces, educational opportunities, and community-building events that help LGBTQ+ individuals and families feel seen, supported, and connected.
The Pride Center of New Jersey offers a wide range of peer-led support groups, social gatherings, youth programming, educational workshops, and community events designed to foster connection and belonging for LGBTQ+ people of all ages.
In addition to our ongoing programming, PCNJ works collaboratively with partner organizations and community resources to help connect individuals with affirming services, information, and opportunities that support their well-being and ability to live safe, authentic lives.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PCNJ operates entirely through the support of fundraising events, sponsorships, grants, and individual donations. Contributions from our community partners and supporters help sustain our programs, maintain welcoming community spaces, and expand opportunities for LGBTQ+ connection and engagement throughout New Jersey.
Annual Fundraising Gala
An Evening Out with The Pride Center of New Jersey— Color Outside The Lines—is our annual fundraising gala celebrating the creativity, resilience, diversity, and vibrancy of New Jersey’s LGBTQ+ community.
As a fully volunteer-led organization, PCNJ is powered by the generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners who believe in the importance of creating spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals can gather, connect, and thrive authentically.
Support from this event helps sustain PCNJ’s peer-based support groups, youth programming, educational initiatives, social events, and community-building efforts throughout the year.
