Concrete Model The concrete model serves as an exploration of the spatial quality inherent in the new addition, specifically focusing on the introduction of arched openings in the facade. This model symbolizes the project’s commitment to rawness and materiality, embodying these principles throughout its design.
Shop The image shows the shop and its surroundings. The shop is in a similar position as today but it has been moved further back into the building also using the space behind the foundation. The shop is defined by glass block walls and the arched ceiling. Located near the shop, visible in the center of the image, is a place with seating arrangements for visitors to gather and sit down. The new arched openings in the facade are visible from the shop, with their repeating rhythm of the arches above. Shop
