Lentegeur School caters for learners with severe mental disabilities ranging in age from 5 to 21 years - evolved from a small- day care centre to the comprehensive training institution. The school currently have 350 pupils enrolled, of which 300 live in the residential facility. The School's curriculum is dynamic and offers an individualised learning programme catering for learner’s needs. Learners are grouped according to their abilities, social development and their capacity to cope with specific programmes that are offered. The curriculum is a triad of Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills.
