Project 1 – Design By Researching
Observing from the micro-perspective in relation with the local. The connection | Scale
Observations and collections of the samples of algae and moss from different environment with comparison. Pre-study of the fundamental characteristic and biography of the samples were taken forward into formation of sculpture models.
Connecting to the locals and site, different interpretations were made dan definitions were implied during the explorations and executions.

Exploration of the site from the micro issues between the whole Salak South New Village. With different exploration of issues and proposals between each smaller sites within the boundary.

Community hub (共处 : gong chu, Co-exist) within the new and old To create modern living space cater for single living young adults to small families in objective to prolong the ‘stay’ in the village provide chances of being permanent. Providing a space for locals especially the older generations to have leisure activities that comes in connections and information exchange with the youngs. The connection | Scale | Lifestyle | Experience
Location Interesting site with two side of the residential houses separates by the nature of topography. A valley-like hollow strips lay in between the existing houses surrounding the area. A focus of idea by proposing a bridge of connection within the surrounding neighbourhood and newly proposed of engaging young adults, couples and small young family.
