u S rvey R C C K Δ esu A 6 lts 2 0 2 First Installment Survey Summary: What Has Been Your Favorite Part of AΔKCC So Far? What Has Been Your Least Favorite Part? Responses overwhelmingly reflect a highly positive experience within Alpha Delta Kappa Collegiate Clubs. Members most frequently cited the sense of community, friendship, and connection with fellow future educators as their favorite aspect of involvement. Students valued opportunities to network with peers, practicing educators, alumni members, and sponsoring chapters, creating meaningful relationships that support both personal and professional growth. Members also highlighted service projects, charity work, mentorship opportunities, social events, conferences, conventions, leadership experiences, and professional learning opportunities as particularly rewarding. Many appreciated learning from experienced teachers, sharing classroom experiences, developing leadership skills, and participating in activities that make a positive impact on their communities. A significant number of respondents indicated they did not have a least favorite aspect of the organization. Among those who did identify challenges, the most common concerns involved scheduling conflicts, difficulty attending meetings and events due to classes or work commitments, low meeting attendance, limited member engagement, and a desire for more activities, collaboration with other universities, or larger gatherings. Some members also noted communication challenges, repetitive meeting content for long-term members, and uncertainty about how collegiate membership connects to future involvement in Alpha Delta Kappa. Overall, members described AΔKCC as a supportive, welcoming, and impactful organization that provides valuable friendships, professional connections, service opportunities, and leadership experiences while helping future educators grow in confidence and purpose.
