eXHIBITIONS

We developed several formats of exhibitions, where we address social issues and presend artworks from underrepresented artists with migrant background

14

artists

against

the

kremlin

A major annual exhibition

of critical art, encompassing a wide range of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, large-scale installations

and multimedia works.

To date, more than 200 artists have participated, with over 300 original artworks exhibited.

The exhibition constitutes the largest existing assembly of dissident Russian art.

 15

(Anti)

anti

Propaganda propaganda

A curated selection

of artworks devoted

to the question of how

to resist state-sponsored Russian propaganda. Through this exhibition, we remind both international audiences and our compatriots

of the dangers

of propaganda

and the consequences

of its influence.

16

Arrival

An exhibition exploring both internal and external forms of emigration, created by artists who have personally experienced these trajectories, including forced migration.

17

Through

the bars

Works by political prisoners and works about political prisoners. The exhibition is produced in collaboration with Memorial, One Department and Faces

of Russian Resistance initiatives.

18

Women

against

the

kremlin

A selection of artworks

by female artists

of Russian background, addressing topics such

as anti-war narratives, critiques of the Kremlin, feminist and queer-rights agendas, ecological issues, political prisoners, and more.

19

art

of deco

Works by artists from non-dominant ethnic groups and Indigenous peoples from the Russian Federation, as well as works addressing the issue of deconstructing the colonial heritage

in Russia.

20

The

queerest

of

the

queer

Works by artists from

the queer community

and works addressing issues facing the queer community in Russia. Planned to be executed

in collaboration with Equal Post-Ost, Quarteera and Lesbian Lobby initiatives.

21

anonymous,

untitled

Artworks in various media created by artists who still reside in Russia and work anonymously and

in a partisan manner.

We smuggle these works out of Russia and bring them to Europe

to demonstrate that artistic resistance within the country persists.

22

Paradise

lost

A photographic exhibition depicting how Russia has changed over the years, from a “liberal” country

in the 1990s, full of hopes and possibilities, to an aggressive neo-fascist state in the 2020s

23

the

others

An exhibition that brings together those whom

the Russian regime

has marked with various “toxic” labels: queer people, political prisoners, decolonial activists, and other marginalised groups.

It offers a broader spectrum of narratives than those presented

in Art of Deco or The Queerest of the Queer

24

solo

exhibitions

We also curate and produce solo exhibitions featuring the artists we represent through our gallery, creating cohesive exhibition projects

and supporting

the development of their artistic careers

art prize

We want to introduce annual art prize Prometheus for artists producing critical art. We want to support and inspire emerging artists to create and to archive the best examples of critical art.

32

direct support Besides providing opportunities and representation to our artists, we aim

to support them in broader sense by:

law consultancy

visa admission

psycological help

education

33

IMPact-driven

social

entrepreneurship We do not rely exclusively on donations and grants, aiming to develop

a sustainable project. For this reason, within the framework of Prometheus, we are developing a number of projects with commercial potential.

 34

1

Merch & Products
We are convinced that our project can become truly sustainable only

if it produces and sells its own products.
At the same time, we have access to a unique community of creators,

and their archive consisting thousands of artworks that we can transform into products.

Therefore, we launched the marketplace prometheus.shop, which develops creative concepts, produces and sells merchandise for us and our artists, as well as for partners who share common values: independent media outlets, bloggers, musicians, and NGOs.

Events
We recognize the importance of community building and the potential of soft power. That’s why we organise art markets, social events and parties for friends and partners, providing artists with opportunities

to earn income while connecting with new clients and followers, and

at the same time get new customers and raise the loyalty of the existing ones via entertaining them.

43

Auctions
We plan to host mont hly online auctions featuring selected works

from our galler y ’s collection. Proceeds will be shared between

t he ar tists and t he galler y, wit h a par t donated to charity.

We will experiment wit h different formats and platforms in order

to determine t he most effective approach.

These auctions will also help us expand our community of collectors and keep t hem informed about our ot her projects and initiatives.
