ll it took was one phone call for Jamie Potter to meet two of his idols â and to make a new friend in the process. Potter, who owns Pie in the Sky, the country store/farm stand on Route 7, had just finished watching the HBO documentary âThrilla in Manila,â about the famed boxing match between Mohammad Ali and âSmokinââ Joe Frazier. âI got this feeling that I needed to meet Joe,â said Potter. He called Joe Frazierâs Gym in Philadelphia and was surprised that Joeâs son Marvis, AAU and Golden Glove champion and former pro boxer, answered the phone and arranged a meeting. When they met a month later for lunch, âit was like family,â Potter said. âAfter hearing all Marvisâ stories, I turned to him and I said, âI think your life could
