night. “I teach science at Milford BOCES, so I brew at night, on weekends and vacation,” he said. “I started home-brewing about 11 years ago and I really liked making beer. Then I got this crazy idea that I should start a brew pub.” It took three years from that initial spark, but in 2012, Council Rock Brewery opened its doors on Route 28, four miles south of Cooperstown.
