Public Works
Public Works crews are currently clearing the brush route with one truck in zone 6 and one in zone 19.
Citizens can still haul their brush and bagged lawn debris for unlimited free dumps to the City Landfill located at 4602 N.W. Stallings Dr., with their City of Nacogdoches issued water bill and ID/DL showing proof of residence.
Brush & Yard Waste Pickup
• Tree limbs and brush shall be stacked on street right-of-ways, or within 3 to 6 feet of the curb or street.
o Stacks shall not exceed 6'L X 4'W X 4'H and be limited to three piles.
o The maximum diameter of the largest limb shall not exceed 12 inches in diameter.
o Brush must be stacked in front of the residence that generated the brush.
o Brush placed on vacant lots or in the streets will not be picked up.
o Limbs should not extend into the roadway. Bagged yard waste
o Bagged yard waste collection is "ONLY" available for residential addresses.
o Bagged yard waste shall be placed within ten feet of the edge of the roadway for collection.
Yard waste must be properly bagged.
o The city will only collect 20 bags per residence per week.
o Bagged Yard Waste may also be disposed of at the City landfill, for no charge, provided that the:
-Resident provide current copy of water bill & drivers license as proof of residence.

Running of the Blueberries
The Running of the Blueberries on Saturday was successful with a record 523 runners. A big thank you to all of the sponsors, Carr, Riggs, & Ingram, Fitness 360, East TX Vet/ North Street Veterinary, Cross Fit Nac, Petsense, Lucky Pup Bakery and the Fredonia Hotel. Also a big thank you to the SFA police for helping with the crossing at College Dr. and all the volunteers that made this event possible!
