We’re thrilled to share the sweetest news! Ivy Mae has joined the Interior Elements family! Born to our amazing Dianne Boltin and her husband, Ivy Mae is healthy, happy, and already bringing so much joy.

We couldn’t be more excited for Dianne and her family, and we’re so glad to have her back with us to share in all the baby love. Welcome to the world, Ivy Mae!

SARAH & JUSTIN

Justin Dike and his wife, Sarah Barringer, are celebrating the arrival of their baby girl! Both mom and daughter are healthy and doing great, and their family is soaking up every sweet moment together.

We’re so excited for Justin and Sarah as they step into this new adventure, and we send our warmest congratulations to the happy family!

Back to school smiles!

Nothing makes us prouder than seeing our IE family in action, both at work and at home.

As the new school year begins, many of you shared photos of your kids heading back to class, full of excitement, new backpacks, and big smiles. It’s a reminder that behind every project and every client success, there are families who inspire us daily.

Here’s to a great year ahead for all the students, parents, and teachers in our IE family!

EVENTS AROUND IE

From happy hours and pickle ball matches to community service days and team outings, there’s never a dull moment at Interior Elements.

Our offices keep a full calendar of events that bring people together, build stronger connections, and remind us that work is about more than projects — it’s about people.

Whether we’re cheering each other on, giving back to the community, or just having fun, these moments strengthen the IE family and make our culture truly one of a kind.

Celebrating Our Summer Interns!

As summer winds down, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible contributions of our interns, Madeline Thornton (Charlotte) and Lindsay Agena (Birmingham). Both jumped right in—supporting design teams, learning the ins and outs of project management, and bringing fresh creativity to everything they touched.

Madeline and Lindsay head back to Auburn University this fall to continue their studies in the College of Human Sciences, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they did during their time with us. Their energy, curiosity, and talent made a real impact, and we’re excited to see what they accomplish next.

A big thank-you to both of them for a summer well spent—we’ll be cheering you on from IE!

Team Member Spotlight: Andrew Irvin

How long have you been with IE?

I have been with IE since November of 2021.

Do you have a nickname?

Growing up everyone, including my teachers, called me by my last name. It was either Irvin or Irv.

Where are you originally from?

I was born and raised in Danville, IL.

Where did you go to high school/college?

I went to Danville High School and then after the Navy I went to Aquila Aviation and learned how to fly helicopters.

Tell us about your family.

I am married to my beautiful, wonderful, I don’t know how she deals with me wife, Jessica, and I have 4 children. Madalyn (13), Lilly (12), Callen (2) and Bella (1).

What is your favorite thing IE?

I enjoy walking into an empty space, then being able to see what has been built at the end of the day and seeing the clients reaction to it.

What advice would you give a new person at IE?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help from any market. Everyone is willing to help and wants you to be successful.

Favorite Band?

I listen to a lot of different music but if I had to pick one I would say Flogging Molly.

Worst of First Job?

Right after high school while I was waiting to go to boot camp I worked at a corn seed manufacturer. I basically just stood in a cage and stacked bags on a pallet that came off a conveyor belt for 10 hours a day. The corn seed dust everywhere made it worse.

Hobbies?

I enjoy making and turning things on my wood lathe. Such as bottle stoppers, pens, and bowls.

Favorite books or movie?

Well I don’t read much, ā€˜cause I mean they will make it into a movie anyways, so I’ll just wait for that. I can’t name any one favorite movie but all the 90’s/2000’s comedies like, Happy Gilmore, Old School, Tropic Thunder, etc……

What would your wife say that we don’t know about you?

I have a big tendency to answer questions and comments with movie quotes or breaking out into a song with said comment. For example: She would say, ā€œCallen is really using his imaginationā€ to which I respond with singing: ā€œJust my imagination, running away with meā€¦ā€ Secretly, she loves it.

Making Waves in Multi-Family: THE UPLAND, WASHINGTON, DC

Abig shoutout to Crystal Doss, Kaitlyn Peeler, and David Doss for their outstanding work on The Upland, a multifamily project in Washington, DC. Partnering with the team at Michael Graves Architecture, they collaborated seamlessly from design through installation to deliver a space that reflects both style and functionality.

We’re proud of the creativity and teamwork that made this project a success!
