LITTLE BABY LEO

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Leo Wallace Peeler to the Interior Elements family! Born to Kaitlyn Peeler, one of our incredible senior designers, and her husband, baby Leo is already stealing hearts (and rocking that newborn style). He’s healthy, happy, and according to early reports—already showing strong opinions on color palettes.

In true Kaitlyn fashion, she made it to the Design Ops retreat just eight weeks after Leo’s arrival—because apparently raising a newborn and being a design boss is just how she rolls.

Baby Boom in the Queen City!

Charlotte is officially having a baby boom—and the latest addition to the IE family is here! Katie Buker welcomed her sweet baby boy, SJ. He arrived weighing 9lbs 2oz and measuring 22.5” long!

We’re sending all the love, good vibes, and diaper coupons her way as she settles into this exciting new chapter. And can we talk about this adorable trend in our Charlotte crew? What is in the water over there??

Congratulations, Katie! We’re so happy for you and can’t wait to meet your little one.

And a legendary pic of Don Rush’s little guy sporting an Interior Elements onesie that lets everyone know he’s destined for greatness.

SO MANY NEW FACES

The Great Raleigh Expansion

There’s been a noticeable buzz in the Raleigh office lately—and for good reason. What was once one of our leaner teams is now growing into a dynamic and well-rounded hub for both design and business development.

Over the past several weeks, Raleigh has welcomed Amy and Alexia, two interior designers whose talent and fresh perspective are already making an impact. They bring not only strong design skills but also a collaborative energy that’s adding real momentum to the team.

Joining them is Rachel Beam, stepping into the newly created graphic designer role. Rachel’s presence strengthens our regional creative support and allows the team to elevate presentations, proposals, and visual storytelling across the board.

Rounding out the expansion is Hannah Williams, who has taken on a market development role with enthusiasm and drive. Her early outreach efforts and relationshipbuilding instincts have already started to open doors.

Interior Elements continues to grow, with new hires joining teams across several of our offices.

From design to marketing and business development, these additions are bringing fresh energy and strengthening our capabilities company-wide.

We’re still actively looking to add interior designers in our Birmingham office, so if you know someone with talent and drive, send them our way.

Thanks to everyone who’s played a part in welcoming our newest team members—we’re excited for what’s ahead!

Sales Summit Recap: Every Second Counts

This past January, our entire Market Development team came together in Greenville, SC for the Annual Interior Elements Sales Summit—a time to connect, reflect, and refocus for the year ahead. With team members traveling in from across the Southeast, it was a full house and a full agenda, and we couldn’t have done it without the leadership and coordination of Will Tuten, our Greenville VP. A huge thank-you to Will for helping make this year’s summit one of our best yet.

The 2025 theme, “Every Second Counts,” served as both a professional challenge and a personal reminder. In our industry, timing is everything—being proactive, responsive, and intentional with every client interaction, every project milestone, and every follow-up. But the message goes beyond the workplace. “Every Second Counts” is also about being fully present in our personal lives—showing up for our families, friends, and communities with the same energy and attention we give to our work.

Whether it was through breakout sessions, shared meals, or late-night conversations, the summit reinforced what makes IE special: our people, our culture, and our commitment to growing together. Here’s to another great year—every second of it.

A LEGACY OF GIVING

The 2025 Legacy Trip to the One & Only Palmilla was an unforgettable celebration of excellence— complete with stunning weather, humpback whale sightings, and meaningful time with the IE Family.

One of the most powerful moments of the trip was our Legacy contribution. This year, we supported Yoselin Muñoz, whose father, Rigo—a former cook at the resort—suffered a severe stroke that left him paralyzed. Yoselin became his full-time caregiver, pausing her education to care for him after local hospitals could no longer offer treatment.

Thanks to your support, we were able to donate $15,000 to help their family during this incredibly difficult time

While the trip recognized top performers, it also reminded us of our mission to make a meaningful difference in the world around us.

Looking ahead, the PAID GP qualifiers for the next Legacy Trip are set at $1.5M for Market Development and Designers.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Here’s to impact, excellence, and another amazing year ahead!

Design Ops Summit: Start in the Right Gear

This year’s Design/Ops Summit brought our teams together at the vibrant Palms Miami for a few days of learning, collaboration, and connection. With a focus on sharing best practices and leveling up our impact, the summit was a powerful reminder of the talent and synergy within our IE family.

We heard inspiring updates from our President, BamBam, and were energized by a keynote from guest speaker Nicole Pinkham. A nationally recognized leadership innovator, Nicole challenged us to think more intentionally about how we lead, collaborate, and drive performance— both individually and as a team.

From big ideas to practical takeaways, the summit gave us the tools and mindset to elevate our work and continue delivering exceptional client experiences.

MLK DAY OF SERVICE

Honoring MLK with Service: Living Our Mission

We believe making a meaningful impact in the world around us isn’t just part of our mission—it’s something we actively live out. Each year, our teams come together on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to serve our communities in ways that reflect Dr. King’s legacy of compassion, equality, and action.

This year’s MLK Day of Service was no exception.

We’re especially proud of our Charlotte team, who partnered with Roof Above—an organization dedicated to ending homelessness in the Charlotte area. The team assembled hygiene kits for individuals in need, helping to provide dignity and care to those experiencing housing insecurity.

From small gestures to larger initiatives, this day is a powerful reminder of the good we can do when we act with intention. Thank you to all who participated and helped bring our mission to life in such a meaningful way.

Full Circle in Ridgeland: HONORING OUR ROOTS, BUILDING OUR FUTURE

There’s something special about coming home.

Our newest showroom in Ridgeland, Mississippi holds more than just furniture and finish samples—it holds our story. As IE’s very first location, Ridgeland is where it all began. And now, with the opening of this brandnew showroom, we’re honoring our roots while stepping confidently into the future.

This thoughtfully designed space represents not only our continued growth but our unwavering belief in the power of great workplace design—how it shapes culture, inspires productivity, and brings people together.

A huge shoutout to Meredith McDowell, one of our senior designers, for bringing the vision to life. Her work blends function with beauty, creating a space that truly reflects who we are and where we’re going.

As we continue expanding across the Southeast, we do so with deep gratitude for our Mississippi beginnings—and with excitement for what’s ahead.

Coming Soon:

Our New Triad Showroom in the Heart of Innovation

Big things are happening in Winston!

We’re excited to share that IE is officially expanding into the Triad with a brand-new showroom located in the heart of Winston-Salem’s Innovation Quarter— one of the Southeast’s most dynamic urban innovation districts.

Home to startups, universities, research labs, and forward-thinking companies, the Innovation Quarter is all about connection, creativity, and progress—making it the perfect home for our next chapter.

This expansion strengthens our presence across North Carolina and reflects our continued growth throughout the region. We’re proud to bring our approach to workplace design to this thriving, futurefocused community.

We’ll be hosting a grand opening celebration soon—stay tuned for the official date!

Here’s to our next step—and to even more opportunities to make a meaningful impact across the Carolinas.
