Nel 1984 nasce la luminosa idea che ancora oggi ispira e definisce la collezione MVSEVM. Il principio ispiratore risale agli anni Sessanta, quando le creazioni dei grandi maestri del design moderno erano visibili solo nei musei o attraverso pubblicazioni specializzate.

In 1984, a bright intuition was born—one that still inspires and defines the MVSEVM collection today. Its roots trace back to the 1960s, when the creations of the great masters of modern design could only be seen in museums or through specialized publications.

Marmo “Calacatta” bianco

Provenienza : Toscana, Italia

Molto pregiato, il Calacatta è un marmo bianco caratterizzato da larghe venature di tonalità grigio caldo di colore chiaro.

Marmo “Noir Saint Laurent” nero

Provenienza : Francia

Molto pregiato, le lastre di Noir Saint Laurent hanno un fondo nero e sono attraversate da fitte venature bianche e dorate. Questo marmo è molto ricercato e viene usato per progetti di alto pregio.

Marmo “Michelangelo” bianco

Provenienza: Toscana, Italia

Il Bianco Michelangelo è un marmo di colore bianco cristallino con venature grigie.

Marmo “Oriente” grigio

Provenienza: Tunisia

Il grigio Oriente è un materiale di colore grigio scuro molto omogeneo con delle striature orizzontali di colori più chiari. Oltre alle caratteristiche macchie scure, può portare anche delle sfumature rosse.

Marmo “Emperador” marrone

Provenienza : Spagna

Marmo di colore marrone maculato con sfumature di marrone di varia intensità e venature bianche. Viene estratto in Spagna e lavorato in Toscana.

Marmo “Marquinia” nero

Provenienza : Spagna

Proviene dalla penisola iberica ed è di colore nero con delle marcate venature bianche e argento che ne disegnano la superficie. Si tratta di un materiale naturale per il quale sono da preferire un’esposizione all’interno e un clima mite.

Marmo “Alpi” verde

Provenienza : Valle d’Aosta, Italia

Marmo pregiato dalle caratteristiche tonalità di verde che si mescolano con il nero e con presenza di puntini di colore bianco.

White “Calacatta”marble

Origin : Tuscany, Italy

Very precious, Calacatta is a white marble characterized by large veins of warm grey shades of light color.

Black “Noir Saint Laurent” marble

Origin : France

Very precious, the Noir Saint Laurent slabs have a black background and are crossed by a lot of white and gold veins. This marble is highly requested and is used for high quality projects.

White “Michelangelo” marble

Origin : Tuscany, Italy

White Michelangelo is a crystalline white calcareous marble with grey veins.

Grey “Oriente” marble

Origin : Tunisia

Grey Oriente is a very homogeneous dark grey marble, with lighter coloured horizontal stripes, with dark spots and eventually even red veins.

Brown “Emperador” marble

Origin : Spain

A brown-colored spotted marble with various shades of brown and white veins. It is quarried in Spain and processed in Tuscany.

Black “Marquinia” marble

Origin : Spain

Nero Marquina marble is sourced from the iberian peninsula and is black with marked white and silver veining that creates a dramatic pattern on the surface. It is a natural material and is best used indoors, in areas with mild climates.

Green “Alpi” marble

Origin : Valle d’Aosta, Italy

Precious marble with variegated shades of green and black, punctuated by tiny white dots.

La ceramica è un materiale non poroso, la cui consistenza garantisce elevatissimi standard igienici e antibatterici. Un insieme di vantaggi che assicura elevata resistenza alle macchie e minima manutenzione del piano.

Ceramic is a non-porous material, whose consistency guarantees very high hygienic and antibacterial standards and ensures high resistance to stains and minimum maintenance of the top.

MANUTENZIONE DEL TOP IN CERAMICA

Il top in ceramica, materiale non poroso e facile da pulire, va mantenuto pulito rimuovendo subito le macchie per evitare che si secchino, soprattutto se causate da sostanze pigmentate o acide come caffè, vino, tè o succhi. Per la pulizia quotidiana è sufficiente un panno morbido o una spugna non abrasiva con acqua, mentre per macchie più ostinate è consigliato un detergente neutro cremoso da risciacquare con acqua calda e asciugare bene con un panno in microfibra.

La superficie è molto resistente ma può danneggiarsi in caso di urti concentrati su spigoli o bordi; si consiglia di evitare impatti con oggetti pesanti o appuntiti. È resistente al calore e può sopportare pentole calde, ma va evitato il contatto diretto con fiamme libere o fonti di calore prolungate.

Per la manutenzione periodica utilizzare solo detergenti neutri non abrasivi, evitando solventi, acidi, basi forti o strumenti metallici e abrasivi che potrebbero graffiare o opacizzare la superficie.

MAINTENANCE OF THE CERAMIC TOP

The ceramic top, a non-porous and easy-to-clean material, should be kept clean by promptly removing any stains to prevent them from drying, especially those caused by pigmented or acidic substances such as coffee, wine, tea, or fruit juices. For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge with water. For more stubborn stains, apply a mild creamy detergent, rinse with warm water, and dry thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.

Although highly resistant, the surface can be damaged by concentrated impacts on edges or corners; avoid contact with heavy or sharp objects. The material withstands high temperatures and can safely hold hot pots and pans, but direct exposure to open flames or prolonged localized heat should be avoided.

For periodic maintenance, use only mild, non-abrasive detergents, avoiding solvents, acids, strong bases, or abrasive tools and metal pads that could scratch or dull the surface.

MARMO

Ogni pezzo di marmo è unico, non esistono due pezzi uguali. Il marmo comunque richiede una ragionevole cura per proteggerlo dalle macchie.

Il marmo è un tipo di pietra calcarea molto compatta e perciò molto porosa; è soggetto a macchiarsi con cibi, liquidi versati e altri materiali di pulizia, specialmente se vengono lasciati per un lungo periodo sulla superficie. Liquidi o altre sostanze anche solo leggermente acidi possono corrodere, scolorire o danneggiare in altro modo il marmo. La chiave per vivere con ogni superficie di marmo è di curarla come si farebbe con il legno. In breve, proteggerlo dal calore e da materiali che possono macchiare o graffiare la superficie. Usare tovaglie e sottobicchieri e pulire tempestivamente in caso di macchie.

Le superfici dei piani in marmo sono lucidate (lucido naturale). Ogni marmo viene trattato con cere protettive, ma tali prodotti non rendono mai il marmo impenetrabile da sostanze aggressive e corrosive.

Il miglior modo per mantenere l’aspetto di ogni superficie di marmo è rinnovarlo ogni tanto con uno strato di liquido da noi fornito. Sono da evitare per la pulizia del marmo panni con fibre rigide che potrebbero danneggiare le superfici.

Each piece of marble is unique, no two pieces are ever the same. However marble needs adequate care to protect it from stains, fading etc.

Many believe that marble is almost impenetrable. Being a very compact form of calcareous stone it is much more porous than one would think. Therefore it is liable to stain, if food or liquids are spilled on it, or any other cleaning materials, especially if left on the surface for a long time. In fact liquids or even slightly acidic substances are liable to corrode, fade or damage the marble. The best way to protect marble surfaces is to treat them as if they were made of wood. So that they should be protected from heat, or from any objects that may stain or scratch the surface. The use of table cloths and coasters and cleaning away any spills immediately is highly recommended.

Marble top surfaces are polished (natural polish). All marble tops are treated with protective waxes, however these waxes do not protect marble from aggressive or corrosive substances. The best way to maintain the aspect of any marble surface is to use occasionally the specific liquid that we supply with the product Avoid the use of clothes with rigid fibres which could damage and/ or scratch surfaces.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

ATTENZIONE: il trattamento protettivo non preserva il marmo dalla corrosione acida, pertanto, si consiglia di rimuovere immediatamente i versamenti di sostanze acide quali: limone, aceto, vino, caffè ecc. Evitare di pulire la superficie con prodotti abrasivi e aggressivi ed è sconsigliato l’impiego di detergenti acidi. Il marmo essendo una pietra naturale può presentare delle diversità cromatiche e di venatura le quali rendono ogni modello unico e inimitabile e pertanto differente da tutti gli altri.

ATTENTION: the protective treatment does not protect the marble from acid corrosion. As such, it is advisable to remove splashes of acidic substances, such as lemon juice, vinegar, coffè or wine, right away. Avoid cleaning the surface with abrasive and aggressive products. The use of acid detergents is not recommended.

Marble is a natural stone that may feature colour and grain differences that make every model unique and inimitable, and therefore unlike any other.

ESSENZE WOOD

LEGNO

Per una normale pulizia delle parti in legno, si consiglia di utilizzare un panno umido e morbido, se necessario leggermente imbevuto di una soluzione composta da acqua e sapone neutro. Asciugare successivamente con un panno morbido ed asciutto. Per una pulizia più approfondita delle parti in legno, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifici normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfici di materiale differente. Si consiglia di testare precedentemente il prodotto in una zona non a vista. Non utilizzare mai alcool o altri solventi. Non impiegare mai prodotti abrasivi o corrosivi. Evitare il contatto diretto del legno con fonti di calore, mantenendo il prodotto ad una distanza minima di 20–30 cm. Evitare la luce diretta del sole.

ATTENZIONE: per la natura e la lavorazione del legno, alcune macchie potrebbero non essere completamente eliminabili. Una lieve variazione di colore nel tempo è da considerarsi un’evoluzione naturale del materiale.

WOOD

For the regular cleaning of wooden parts a soft, damp cloth is recommended, which may be slightly dampened with a solution of water and neutral soap if needed. Then dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For a deeper cleaning of wooden parts specific products normally found in stores may be used, paying special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and taking care to avoid contact with different materials. Initially testing the product in an area out of sight is recommended. Never use alcohol or other solvents. Never use abrasive or corrosive products. Do not allow the wood to come into direct contact with heat sources and keep the product at a distance of at least 20-30 cm. Avoid direct sunlight.

WARNING: due to its nature and processing, certain stains cannot be completely removed from wood. A slight change in colour over time is considered a natural evolution of the material.

PARTI IN LEGNO VERNICIATE

Per una normale pulizia delle parti di legno verniciate, si consiglia pulire esclusivamente con panno morbido inumidito con acqua e asciugare accuratamente. Non strofinare energicamente perché la lucentezza della vernice potrebbe alterarsi. Si consiglia di pulire il mobile seguendo sempre il verso delle venature. Per una pulizia più approfondita delle parti di legno verniciate, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifici normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfici di materiale differente. Si consiglia di testare prima il prodotto in una zona non a vista. Non utilizzare prodotti contenenti alcool, acetone, cloro, diluenti o detersivi abrasivi. Non collocare i mobili in esterno e non esporli alla luce diretta del sole, poiché le superfi ci verniciate possono essere irrimediabilmente danneggiate. Non esporre i mobili alle intemperie o a forti sbalzi di temperatura per evitare deformazioni, ritiri e rigonfi amenti indesiderati del legno. Non collocare i mobili in ambienti dal tasso di umidità elevato e porre i mobili lontano da fonti di calore dirette mantenendo il prodotto a una distanza minima di 20–30 cm. e da pareti umide per evitare la formazione di muffe e funghi oppure deformazioni, ritiri e rigonfiamenti indesiderati del legno. Evitare la luce diretta del sole. Non appoggiare sulle superfici del mobile oggetti con superfici eccessivamente calde (oltre i 28C°) e/o fredde (meno di 10°C) per evitare la velatura delle vernici che rifiniscono il mobile. Non colpire le superfici dei mobili con oggetti contundenti o lasciarvi cadere oggetti pesanti e non appoggiarvi oggetti con superfici abrasive, per evitare danni irrimediabili alle superfici di legno.

AVVERTENZA: per la sua natura e per il trattamento subito, il legno non consente sempre l’eliminazione completa di alcune macchie. Un lieve cambio di colore, nel tempo, è da considerarsi come naturale evoluzione del materiale.

PARTI LACCATE

Per una normale pulizia delle parti laccate si consiglia di utilizzare un panno umido e morbido, se necessario leggermente imbevuto di una soluzione composta da acqua e sapone neutro. Asciugare successivamente con un panno morbido ed asciutto. È possibile che per le prime pulizie il panno di pulizia rimanga leggermente colorato, il fatto è dovuto alla presenza di polveri di vernici in superficie. Non utilizzare prodotti e detersivi abrasivi, acetone, trielina, ammoniaca, cera o lucidi per mobili. Non usare panni realizzati con fi bre rigide (lini e sintetici) che potrebbero rovinare e/o graffiare le superfici. Per una pulizia più approfondita di queste parti, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifici normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfi ci di materiale diff erente. Si consiglia di testare precedentemente il prodotto in una zona non a vista. Tutte queste operazioni devono essere eff ettuate con molta attenzione per non rovinare le superfici. L’esposizione alla luce diretta del sole può alterare il colore della laccatura o della verniciatura.

PARTI METALLICHE e PARTI VERNICIATE

Per una normale pulizia delle parti metalliche e delle parti verniciate, si consiglia di utilizzare un panno umido e morbido, se necessario leggermente

imbevuto di una soluzione composta di acqua e sapone neutro.

Asciugare successivamente con un panno morbido e asciutto. Per una pulizia più approfondita di queste parti, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifi ci normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfi ci di materiale differente. Prima dell’uso si consiglia di testare il prodotto su una zona non a vista. Non utilizzare mai alcool o altri solventi. Non impiegare mai prodotti abrasivi o corrosivi.

PARTI IN ACCIAIO INOX

Per una normale pulizia delle parti in acciaio, si consiglia di utilizzare prodotti specifi ci appositamente studiati e facilmente reperibili in commercio seguendo sempre le istruzioni riportate sull’etichetta dei prodotti per quanto riguarda dosi e modalità di utilizzo. In alternativa possono essere utilizzati: sapone neutro, alcool denaturato o aceto bianco (meglio se diluito con dell’acqua) utilizzando un panno morbido per la pulizia. Se la superficie dell’acciaio è satinata, è fortemente consigliato seguire la direzione della satinatura durante l’operazione di pulizia. È importante evitare l’utilizzo di strumenti metallici appuntiti per eliminare i residui di sporco, perché possono rovinare la superfi cie del metallo favorendo principi di corrosione.

ALLUMINIO e PARTI

VERNICIATE

Per una normale pulizia delle parti in alluminio e delle parti verniciate, si consiglia di utilizzare un panno umido e morbido, se necessario leggermente imbevuto di una soluzione composta di acqua e sapone neutro. Asciugare successivamente con un panno morbido e asciutto. Per una pulizia più approfondita di queste parti, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifici normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfici di materiale differente. Prima dell’uso si consiglia di testare il prodotto su una zona non a vista. Non utilizzare mai alcool o altri solventi. Non impiegare mai prodotti abrasivi o corrosivi.

PARTI CON FINITURA CROMATA

Per una normale pulizia delle parti con finitura cromata, si consiglia di utilizzare un panno umido e morbido, se necessario leggermente imbevuto di una soluzione composta da acqua e sapone neutro. Asciugare successivamente con un panno morbido ed asciutto. Per una pulizia più approfondita di queste parti, è possibile utilizzare i prodotti specifici normalmente reperibili in commercio tenendo conto delle indicazioni del produttore e facendo molta attenzione a non entrare in contatto con le superfici di materiale differente. Prima dell’uso si consiglia di testare il prodotto su una zona non a vista. Non utilizzare mai alcool o altri solventi. Non impiegare mai prodotti abrasivi o corrosivi.

PAINTED WOODEN PARTS

For the regular cleaning of painted wooden parts we recommend cleaning with a soft damp cloth and thoroughly drying. Do not rub vigorously as this may affect the sheen of the paint. When cleaning the furniture, we always recommend you follow the grain. For the deeper cleaning of painted wooden parts, you can use specific products normally found in stores, paying special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and taking care to avoid contact with different materials. We recommend testing the product beforehand on a non-visible area. Do not use products that contain alcohol, acetone, chlorine, diluents or abrasive detergents.

Do not move the furniture outdoor and do not expose it to direct sunlight as this may irreversibly damage the painted surfaces; Do not expose the furniture to bad weather or significant temperature variations in order to prevent the undesirable deformation, shrinking and swelling of the wood; Do not use the furniture in environments with a high level of humidity, maintain a minimum distance of 20-30 cm from sources of direct heat, and keep away from damp walls in order to prevent the formation of mould and fungus, and the undesirable deformation, shrinking and swelling of the wood. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Do not place excessively hot (over 30°C) and/ or cold objects (less than 10°C) on the surface of the furniture as this may create a patina on the paint used to finish it. To prevent irreversible damage to the surface of the wood, do not hit the surface of the table with blunt instruments or allow heavy objects to fall on it, and do not place objects with abrasive surfaces on it.

Warning: due to its nature and treatment, certain stains cannot be completely removed from the wood. A slight change in colour over time is considered a natural evolution of the material.

VARNISHED PARTS

For the regular cleaning of varnished parts a soft, damp cloth is recommended, which may be slightly dampened with a solution of water and neutral soap if needed. Then dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth. During the first few cleanings the cloth may become slightly coloured due to the varnish dust remaining on the surface. Do not use abrasive products and cleaners, acetone, trichloroethylene, ammonia, wax or furniture and cloth polishes and do not use cloths with rigid fibres (linen and synthetic) which could damage and/ or scratch surfaces. To clean these parts more thoroughly, specific products normally found in stores may be used, paying special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and taking care to avoid contact with different materials. Initially testing the product in an area out of sight is recommended. All of these operations must be performed very carefully so as not to damage surfaces. Exposure to direct sunlight may alter the colour of the varnish.

METAL AND LACQUERED PARTS

For the regular cleaning of metal and lacquered parts a soft, damp cloth is recommended, which may be slightly dampened with a solution of water and neutral soap if needed. Then dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth. To clean these parts more thoroughly, specific products normally found in stores may be used, paying special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and taking care to avoid contact with different materials. Initially testing the product in an area out of sight is recommended. Never use alcohol or other solvents. Never use abrasive or corrosive products.

STAINLESS STEEL PARTS

For the regular cleaning of steel parts, we recommend using products specifically designed for this purpose, which are easily found in stores, paying special attention to the instructions on product labels as concerns doses and methods of use. Alternatively, the following may be used: neutral soap, denatured alcohol and white vinegar (preferably diluted with water) using a soft cloth for cleaning. If the steel surface has a satin finish following the direction of the finish is strongly recommended during cleaning. Avoid using sharp metal tools when removing residues of dirt as these may spoil the surface of the metal by facilitating corrosion.

ALUMINUM AND FINISHED PARTS

For the regular cleaning of aluminum and finished parts, a soft damp cloth is recommended, which may be slightly dampened with a solution of water and neutral soap if needed. Then dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth. To clean these parts more thoroughly, specific products normally found in stores may be used, paying special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and taking care to avoid contact with different materials. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

PELLE ESSENTIAL

Per mantenere intatto nel tempo il rivestimento in pelle possono essere effettuate regolarmente delle operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione. Pulire regolarmente con acqua e sapone neutro e stendere in maniera uniforme su tutta la superficie in pelle della crema nutriente, in quanto la crema satura la pelle ritardando l’assorbimento delle macchie. Non usare stracci in microfibra perché rimuovono il grasso e possono danneggiare la pelle. Consigliamo di usare la crema nutriente una o due volte all’anno (ogni volta che la pelle risulta secca). Per rimuovere eventuali macchie usare un panno di cotone. Non strofinare. Premere un panno contro la macchia per assorbire. Usare un detergente delicato sciolto nell’acqua per rimuovere eventuali aloni.

PELLE CERATA - PELLE CAT. F - PELLE ULTRASOFT

Per rimuovere eventuali macchie dalla pelle usare un panno pulito imbevuto di una soluzione di acqua al 90% e sapone neutro non colorato al 10%. Strofinare delicatamente e asciugare con un altro panno morbido asciutto e pulito.

PELLE NABUK

Pelle delicata. Spolverare periodicamente con un panno bianco pulito, asciutto e non abrasivo. In caso di macchie da sostanze solubili in acqua (bibite, caffè, thè, latte, marmellata): rimuovere rapidamente il liquido dalla superficie tamponando con un panno bianco (o carta assorbente) non abrasivo. Successivamente, con un panno pulito imbevuto d’acqua, strofinare delicatamente dall’esterno verso l’interno della macchia. Asciugare immediatamente con un panno pulito. Non inzuppare la superficie della pelle ed asciugare immediatamente con un panno asciutto.

LEATHER ESSENTIAL

In order to maintain the original features of leather covers regular cleaning and care treatments are necessary. Clean regularly with water and neutral soap and then apply a coating of nourishing cream on the entire surface of the same, as the cream acts to saturate the leather and delays stain absorption. Do not use microfibre cloths as they may remove the grease and damage the leather itself. We recommend to use nourishing cream once or twice a year (or whenever the leather appears to be dry). To remove stains use a cotton cloth. Do not rub. Press the cloth against the stain to absorb. Use a delicate detergent diluted in water to remove any rings.

WAXED LEATHER - LEATHER CAT. F - ULTRASOFT

LEATHER

To remove stains from leather use a clean cloth soaked with a solution of 90% water and 10% transparent neutral soap. Rub gently and dry clean with a soft dry clean cloth.

NABUK LEATHER

Delicate leather. Dust down occasionally using a clean white cloth, that must be dry and non-abrasive. In the event of stains caused by water soluble substances (beverages, coffee, tea, milk, jam): rapidly remove the liquid from the surface mopping up with a non -abrasive white cloth. Afterwards rub gently from outside to the inside of the stain using a clean cloth soaked in water. Do not soak the leather surface and dry immediately with a dry cloth.

OUTDOOR

Per la pulizia quotidiana dei rivestimenti in tessuto, rimuovere la polvere con un panno morbido e asciutto. Evitare l’uso di battipanni o aspirapolvere, che potrebbero danneggiare imbottitura e rivestimento.

In caso di macchie, intervenire tempestivamente tamponando la zona con un panno bianco pulito, leggermente inumidito con acqua tiepida, procedendo dai bordi verso il centro. Se necessario, utilizzare un detergente specifico per tessuti, avendo cura di non applicarlo mai direttamente sulla superficie. Lasciare asciugare all’aria, evitando stirature o vaporizzazioni.

Prima di procedere con qualsiasi lavaggio, a mano o a secco, è consigliabile coprire le parti in velcro con un apposito nastro protettivo (“paravelcro”), per prevenire danni alla fodera. Attenersi sempre alle indicazioni riportate sull’etichetta del tessuto.

Per il lavaggio a secco, preferire un trattamento soft, affidandosi a una tintoria specializzata. In presenza di macchie, segnalare sempre la loro origine al personale della lavanderia.

Attenzione: non conservare le fodere lavate in contenitori chiusi ermeticamente.

For daily cleaning of fabric upholstery, remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using beaters or vacuum cleaners, as they may damage both the padding and the cover.

In case of stains, act promptly by dabbing the area with a clean white cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water, working from the edges toward the center. If necessary, use a specific fabric detergent, taking care not to apply it directly to the surface. Allow the fabric to air dry, avoiding ironing or steaming.

Before any hand or dry cleaning, it is advisable to cover the Velcro parts with protective tape (“paravelcro”) to prevent damage to the cover. Always follow the care instructions on the fabric label.

For dry cleaning, choose a soft treatment and contact a specialized laundry service. In case of stains, always inform the cleaner about their origin.

Warning: do not store washed covers in airtight containers.
