PROFILE I'm Alison, and I'm a Nanyang Polytechnic architecture student. I enjoy building models, especially little ones. I have extensive experience with AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Lumion 3D, and Enscape since beginning my architectural studies. In year 1's courses DN1953 - Building Structures and DN1954 - Building Construction, I also serve as a teaching assistant. I have learnt that it is beneficial to collaborate with others when working on tasks and that I can work well in a team. I enjoy working with new individuals, and I have picked up a lot from them. Even when deadlines and objectives are under strain, I am able to work autonomously. I'm fluent in a couple different languages. Chinese, English, Malay, and Cantonese are spoken. I enjoy learning new things and trying them out, and once I graduate, I aim to obtain a job in the architectural, design, or perhaps the artistic industries.

HOBBIES Model making Playing The Sims Learning Origami Listen to music Reading
In addition to the course, I've taken up hobbies like sewing and piano playing to help me decompress. In my spare time, I also play the life simulation computer game "The Sims," which lets me construct homes in a virtual setting. That supports my architectural approach as well. I'm hoping this internship will expose me to new experiences and lessons.

RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCES 2019 TO 2020 School Projects Year 3 Semester 2 : Mycroverse Mycelium is the project's genius since it is a biomimicry endeavor. Before there were human civilizations, mycelium already existed underground and had the power to control the life cycle. To preserve the innate existence of the human world, they are present everywhere and in everything. Can we, as humans, share with nature the beauty that exists beneath our feet? Year 2 Semester 2 : The Clinic of Fruit City This concept combines two seemingly unconnected worlds into one by superimposing the past and the present on top of one another. The location (Radin Mas) that I picked in the past was a Malay Kampong. The building has two sides. One is the "chicken side," where patients will exercise more and participate in more rigorous programs than on the "piglet side."
