DOHA

04-07 February

Doha has reopened its doors to Arabian horse enthusiasts from around the world, and the Global Champions Arabians Tour, organized as part of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival 2026, has returned here for the second stage of the 2026 season, celebrating the values deeply rooted in Qatar’s centuries-old Arabian horse tradition with a memorable and meaningful show.

In fact, Qatar continues to play a leading role as a global platform for specialized equestrian championships, celebrating and passing on the heritage of the purebred Arabian horse and supporting initiatives that combine the authenticity of tradition with contemporary organization.

The Global Champions Arabians Tour, which took place from February 4 to 7, 2026, saw the participation of 232 contenders representing Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, France, Jordan, and the United States. This broad participation once again underscored the importance of the Tour on a global level.

The GCAT DOHA 2026 offered champions a total prize pool of QAR 15,560,000, in addition to the prize pool already allocated to the overall champions (USD 4,065,000) and additional prizes that will go to the Horse of the Tour (USD 500,000) and the Legend Horse (USD 2,000,000). This certainly increased the enthusiasm that drove participation.

The Tour has proven itself to be an exceptional provider of a unique platform for showcasing the cultural richness and traditions of participating nations to a global audience, in line with its core values of honesty, integrity, and excellence, as strongly affirmed by its creators since the inception of this prestigious global event.

Thanks to the Organizing Committee, under the leadership of Director General Prof. Khaled bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti, the organization was impeccable and reflected the highest levels of professionalism and the rigorous standards of international Arabian horse beauty championships.

The arena, built by the sea, and the traditional Qatari boats in the bay provided the backdrop for the show,

which took place in the evocative Qatari atmosphere. The large press center was dedicated to all the major media outlets covering the event, while a great VIP area hosted numerous guests from around the world.

The world’s leading horses, breeders, handlers, and judges come together, united by shared values of integrity, respect, and excellence framed by a setting that embodies authenticity, elegance, and vision. The same vision that recognizes the Arabian horse as a symbol of beauty, strength, and loyalty, deeply rooted in Arab heritage.

All the sincere appreciation on behalf of Tutto Arabi Magazine goes to the Organizing Committee of the Global Champions Arabians Tour, Faleh Mohammed Al-Nasr, the Chairman, Jan Tops, vice Chairman and all the other members who we want to mention and thank here: Kholoud Mohammed Al-Hail - Chief Operations officer & Board Member, Fred van Lierop - Board Member, Bader Mohammed Al-Darwish - Chief Executive Officer and Event Director, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Nasser Al Thani - Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ali Yousuf Al-Rumaihi - Deputy Event Director and Jorge Cunha - Chief Brand & Marketing Officer.

Just as we want to warmly thank the members of the Host Organizing Committee of Katara International Arabian Horse Festival who played a key role: the above mentioned Prof. Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti - Director-General of the Cultural Village Foundation and his team composed by Malika Muhammad Al Shraim - Chief Commercial Director (CSD), Hussein Mohammed Al-Baker - Director of the General Services Department and Khaled Abdul Rahim AlSayed - Director of the Events and Cultural Affairs Department.

There was a wide selection of judges. Every class a new team of judges was drawn and appointed by the Disciplinary Committee directly at the arena in order to ensure maximum transparency. The judges invited to this show edition were: Allan Preston - Australia, Helen Hennekens - Belgium, Enrico Francini CarloneBrazil, Ali Shaarawi - Egypt, Abdel Raouf Abbas - Egypt, Mark Ismer - Germany, Klaus G. BesteGermany, Dhari Abdulmohsen Al Mejhem - Kuwait, Cedes Bakker - Netherlands, Lucas GozdzialskiPoland, Majed Abdullah Al-Mehyawi - KSA, Ali Ghanem Al Mazrouei - UAE, Joanne Lowe - UK, Steve Dady - USA.

AL SHIRAA

INTERNATIONAL ARABIAN HORSE SHOW

This has become a world to which we must learn to adapt: a concrete reality, often unpredictable, ready to test us and suddenly change our lives. This is exactly what happened between 27 February and 1 March, when a series of events - the military attack on Iran and the resulting closure of international airspace affecting the entire Persian Gulf area - threatened to change all of our plans. We are in Al Ali, a city about 150 km from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, where the fourth edition of an ECAHO-affiliated Class A morphological show, the “Al Shiraa International Arabian Horse Show 2026” is taking place.

Fortunately, today we can say with absolute certainty that the organisation of the Al Shiraa show, led by Chairman Her Highness HH Sheikha

Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, demonstrated an extraordinary level of excellence. Together with her highly professional staff, she has managed a critical situation with great competence, ensuring that the competition dedicated to our beloved PSA horses was completed and that all participants returned safely to their respective destinations around the world.

Among the most important members of staff, we would like to mention H.E. Mohamed Ahamed Alharbi, Chairman, together with Mrs Antonia Bautista, Stud Manager at Al Shiraa Arabians, Mr Mumtaz Faiz Allaf, Mrs Lulua Al Mansoori, Mr Ebrahim Basheer and Mrs Samantha Kettle, who managed the work of all of us media representatives with great professionalism.

AL SHIRAA

INTERNATIONAL ARABIAN HORSE SHOW

HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is a figure of great international importance, a woman deeply committed to numerous institutional and cultural activities. She is the Chairwoman of the Fatima Bint Hazza Cultural Foundation, Chairwoman of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, as well as Owner and Founder of Al Shiraa. On this occasion, She personally oversaw the event, availing Herself of the collaboration of highly experienced and reliable professionals.

Moving on to the strictly professional aspect - the reason we were asked to report and document the event in our magazine - we have noticed that due to the high number of entries numerous international judges were invited - and this already gives an indication of the success of this eagerly awaited show: Mr Ali Shaarawi (Egypt), Mr Abderrazak Himdani (Morocco), Mr Christopher Lowe (United Kingdom), Mr Jonas Salzmann (Kuwait), Mr Klaus Beste (Germany), Mr Lucas Gozdzialski (Poland), Mrs Maria Ferraroni (Italy), Mrs Anna Stojanowska (Poland), Mr Eric Gear (France), Mrs Irina Stigler (Russia), Mr Santi Fornieles (Argentina) and Mr Urs Aeschbacher (Switzerland).

Mr Hamdan Alharbi served as Show Manager on the show’s technical committee, assisted by Mr Eidha Almenhali as Assistant. The official voices of the show were Mr Mohamed Abu Baker for Arabic and Mr Eric Blaak for English. Mr Jassem Al Hadad and Mr Peter Hegemann took turns in the ring.

This year, the panel of Disciplinary Commissioners (DC) consisted of Dr Gianpaolo Teobaldelli (Italy), Mr Obada Ahmad Zabadi (Saudi Arabia), Mr Salem Al Khatheri (UAE), Mr Hamed Al Harthi (UAE), Mr Ibrahim Alobeidii (UAE) and Dr Habib Gul Zia Ur Rahman (UAE).

The show went ahead much as in previous editions, with a few precautions taken to ensure the event ran smoothly. These included the decision to temporarily suspend live streaming and social media posts, which were already saturated with often alarming and not always verified news.

AL SHIRAA

INTERNATIONAL ARABIAN HORSE SHOW

Despite everything, the event went ahead as planned: 228 horses competed in the classes held on 27 and 28 February and qualified for the final championships on 1 March.

And now we come to the most eagerly awaited moment: the medal ceremony. The first gold medal in the yearling fillies category went to “RDS NOURAH” from Ajman Stud. Silver went to “D BADEEAH” from Mohammad Tareq and bronze to “AL ARYAM ALDHAFRA” owned by G.H. Sheikh Yas Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayyan. We continued the championship with the Junior fillies, and it was Gold ‘SQ GHANDOURA’ from Hanaya Arabian Stud that also won the bronze with ‘D NAFAYES’. In this regard, I would like to add that there were many horses from Europe this year, as the organisation covered the transport costs for the pure pleasure of hospitality.

Let’s return to the silver medal won by ‘WOJOOD AL BAHYA’ from Ras Al Khaimha Horse Stud. In the last championship for senior females, the gold medal went to ‘BINT AL ELEAH FN’ owned by Mr. Fawaz Jafar Elmi Nabulsi. Silver went to ‘AL ARYAM ALDHANNA’ owned by G.H. Sheikh Yas Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahayyan, while bronze went to ‘MANAR AL ZOBAIR’ owned by Shaikh Abdalla Khalid Abdulla M. Althani.

We resumed the championships involving the males in a relaxed atmosphere, starting with the Yearlings, where the Gold Medal went to ‘MAHBOUB AL ZOBAIR’ owned by Sheikh Ghanim Abdullah Mohammed Ali Al Thani, who also won Silver in this category with ‘MNADY AL ZOBAIR’. The bronze medal went to ‘AJ HAJES’ by Ajman Stud. In the Junior category, ‘ASAM EKL SAID’ won the gold medal again for Hanaya Arabian Stud. ‘AJ RABDAN’ owned by Ajman Stud won the silver medal. The bronze medal went to ‘MZ ADEEB’ by Khalifa Abdulla Mohammed Thani Al Nuaimi. As always, the Stallion Championship was the most awaited moment, with the gold medal to ‘D SHARAR’ owned by Dubai Stud. Silver went to another great male from the Hanaya Arabian Stud stable, ‘EKS SIRAJJ’. ‘AL ARYAM SHAKLAAN’ owned by Al Aryam Arabians was awarded the bronze medal. Now, as usual, I leave you with the photos taken by our photographer Antonio Caracciolo.

JUNIOR COLT

Proudly bred and owned by Steylaers Giovanna Italy: +39 340 839 4039 - Steylaers@virgilio.it

We are kicking off this new year with a new show in Cairo, held on 5 and 6 January, which uses one of the oldest Egyptian expressions as its name. “KEMET” (or Kmt) is in fact the ancient name of Egypt and means “Black Land”, referring to the fertile dark silt deposited by the Nile River.

But beyond the evocative name, the young organiser, Mr Medhat Gaber, did not overlook any detail, demonstrating unquestionable professionalism. The choice of location was spot on: far from the chaotic traffic of Cairo and located within an elegant sports centre, which also has an excellent restaurant.

The show took place over two days with perfect timing. Small touches for guests and horses are always appreciated by those who, like us, the judges and all the professionals, do this job every weekend.

For its first edition, the KEMET Show achieved excellent results in terms of participation, with 114 horses registered. Given its success, I am convinced that the next edition will be a huge draw.

Another new feature introduced by the organiser was the prize money. You might say that cash prizes are now commonplace. True, but Mr Medhat presented them

directly during the awards ceremonies for both the categories and the championships, a gesture that was appreciated and elegant.

The VIP area was also very well organised, with tables, sofas and a generous catering service. The event’s organising committee, together with Mr Medhat Gaber, was the Arab Equine Veterinary Association.

The Ring Masters were Mr Mateusz Jarkowski (PL) and Mr Khaled Aljazarah (KW). The Disciplinary Committee, which in the presence of over one hundred horses is always composed of three or more members, consisted of Dr Eslam El Mahdy, Dr Amal Elmatbolye and Dr Ahmed Abo El Yazeed, all from Egypt.

Mr Medhat has also surrounded himself with highly professional figures, such as Mrs Nahla Baraka, Event Manager, assisted by Mrs Marwa Mahmoud for Show Coordination. The beautiful and unmistakable voice of Mrs Nabila Al Ali makes every event even more special.

The two official photographers, authors of the images you will see, were Mr Ahmed Taha and Mr Marawan Al Arab. The video footage was handled by Arabianxtreme TV, while the entire show will be available on Arabianessence.

For the Male Foals, the gold medal winner is ‘MOHEEB AL SHABAAN’ from Al Shabaan Stud. Silver goes to ‘LAHEEB PEGASUS’ from Pegasus Stud, which also wins bronze with ‘RAYAN PEGASUS’. We get to the heart of the show with the Yearling Fillies. From this point on, almost all classes are divided into A and B due to the high number of entries. But let’s get to the champions:

Normally, when I reach the final ranking of the most eagerly awaited category, that of stallions, I pause to announce the expectations of the public, the excitement that can be felt in the air for the triumphant entry of their favourites. But not today. I want to draw your attention to the names of the owners. Many are new names, representing the new generations who will follow with hard work, passion and joy the historic Egyptian stud farms that are now famous throughout the world thanks to the first courageous breeders who brought the purebred Arabian horse to worldwide renown and who have never strayed from its purity.

But now it is time for the stallions who have earned their place in the ring for the final showdown in the championship to make their entrance.

As always, I would like to thank all the staff, and I would like to thank Medhat Gaber for his tenacity and determination, which over the years have led him to realise a dream that began on a farm in Cairo many years ago in the presence of a great mutual friend, who perhaps contributed to the success of this dream from above.

SCOTTSDALE

13-15 February

Scottsdale once again claimed its place on the international Arabian horse calendar as the Global Champions Arabians Tour returned to Arizona for its first Americas stage of the 2026 season. Staged from February 13 to 15 under the iconic Big Tent at WestWorld of Scottsdale, GCAT Scottsdale delivered an expanded three-day program, enhanced facilities, and an elevated championship experience that reflected the Tour’s growing global ambition.

With nearly 150 exceptional Arabian horses representing leading owners and breeders from around the world, the Scottsdale stage served not only as a premier competition but also as an official qualifier for the World Arabian Horse Championship Supreme in Paris this November. A redesigned arena layout, expanded paddock space, and GCAT’s signature event village combined elite sport with a refined lifestyle atmosphere, creating a dynamic showcase that blended international excellence with Scottsdale’s distinctive Western elegance.

The judging panel for Scottsdale included Mr. Preston Allan (Australia), Mr. Smith Graham (Australia), Mr. Swaenepoel James (Belgium), Mr. Kammer Murillo (Brazil), Ms. Ibrahim Maha (Egypt), Mr. Veray Marc (France), Mr. Puente Diego (Uruguay), Mr. Kostial Paul (United States), Mr. Taylor Isaac (United States), Mr. Van Handel Michael (United States), and Mr. Brumfield Scott (United States). With such an esteemed lineup of judges overseeing the competition, the Scottsdale leg of the tour once again showcased the very best in Arabian horse excellence and set the stage for an exciting Americas series.

The championship finals brought electric energy to the arena, with outstanding performances across all divisions and enthusiastic crowd support throughout the weekend. Beyond the competition, the event celebrated the cultural connection between the Middle East and the United States, reinforcing the truly global community that defines the Arabian horse world.

The show started with three full classes of yearling fillies. The winner of the first class with 90.80 points was the pretty Mean Al Asser PCF (AJ Nawash x Gina DJB),

bred by PCF Arabians and owned by Mousa Abu Saed. In second place with 90.60 points was Wingates My Eliza (Om El Maximus x Wingates My Maria), bred and owned by Kelly and Casey Campbell.

The show continued with the second class of yearling fillies. The winner with 90.10 points was Layali Shakhat (D Shakhat x MM Alazana), bred and owned by David Chen. Finishing second, just 0.10 points behind, was Royal Estrella (Stardom SKY x Royal Mia), bred and owned by Royal Arabians. Later, in the championships, Estrella returned stronger and claimed the Bronze medal, leaving Layali out of the medals.

Both the Gold and Silver champions among the yearling fillies emerged from the final class. With an impressive score of 91.50 points, the beautiful and typey Brielle Anvil (Om El Maximus x Shio Basilica), bred by Alejandro Vigil and owned by Remington Equine, not only secured the class win but also went on to claim Gold in the final championships. Second in this class — and later Silver medalist — was AM Joli (RFI Fiorano x HW Enjoli), bred by Connie and Robert Franzel and owned by PCF Arabians.

Two large classes of yearling colts were up next. The pretty Cread (Haz AL x Kamila FC), bred and owned by John and Debra Mitchell, won his class with 90.70 points and later claimed the Silver medal in the final championships. Second in this class with 90.10 points was El Palacio VO (Elle Mustique x Prelinka VO), bred and owned by Valley Oak Arabians.

Before moving on to the second class of yearling colts, a spectacular opening ceremony was held. With music

and a special appearance by Lisa Borowsky, the Mare of Scottsdale, riding her Arabian gelding Mandalorean, the event officially opened in style. It was wonderful to see how deeply involved the Scottsdale community is in this show.

The second group of yearling colts was won convincingly by the flashy Anthem PCF (Aria Helios x Alexandria PCF), bred and owned by PCF Arabians, with an impressive score of 91.30 points. Later, in the championships, he claimed the Gold medal almost unanimously. There was a close finish for second place, as both contenders scored an identical 90.40 points. However, it was the higher movement score that pushed MF Sharim (Sharif Al Zobair x SRA Susanne), bred and owned by Staci Meyers, into second place. He later went on to claim the Bronze medal in the championships.

The show continued with the junior fillies, where the top three scored very close to one another. It was the beautiful Genesis AS (Sharif Al Zobair x Prada AS), bred by Arabian Soul Partners and owned by Royal Arabians, who took the lead with a total of 90.90 points. In second place with 90.60 points was Breathless AA (Aria La Croixx x HP Breslavia), bred and owned by Aspire Arabians.

Next on the program was the Pro-Am Western Pleasure Championship. The unanimous winner was PA Madelyn (KM Bugatti x May Dancer V), bred by Frank Chisholm and owned by Lisa Blackstone. The Silver medal was awarded to PSL Khadee Love (Khaja J x MFA Love Ntyme), bred by Dale Hempel and owned by White Rock Farms. The Bronze medal went to Mmonsignor (Justify x Liza Monelli), bred by DST Arabians and owned by Kimberly Beethe.

The show continued with the second class of junior fillies, where once again two fillies scored extremely close. The winner with an impressive total of 91.30 points was Aria Callista (D Shakhat x Clio Cerise), bred and owned by Aria Prestige Holdings. In second place, scoring just 0.10 points less, was RM Ellenoire (D Shakhat x Esstelle), bred and owned by Randy and Margaret Hankins.

The final group of junior fillies also delivered high scores among the top three, all scoring over 91 points and separated by only 0.10 points. Taking the class win with 91.50 points was Marlayna PCF (Martino PCF x Layna Leona PCF), bred by PCF Arabians and owned by Orrion Farms. She later went on to claim the Gold medal in the championships. In second place with 91.40 points was Eleganzia A (Ibn Farid x Ava Maryia), bred and owned by Hugh and Alexandra Hodsman. However, in the final championships, Eleganzia had to settle for Bronze, leaving the Silver medal to the third-placed filly from the class: Aria Imara (Ibn Farid x Juliana BR), bred and owned by Desert Dream Arabian Horse Partners.

The next day began with the junior colts. The big-moving Magnus ENB (Atticus ENB x MD Alihandra), bred by Manuel F. Durini and owned by Psynergy Enterprise Developments, came, saw, and conquered. Winning his class with an impressive 91.60 points and scoring almost unanimous 20s for movement, he made a strong statement. However, in the final championships, he lost some of his spark and had to settle for the Bronze medal. Second in this class with 90.80 points was SVB Calais (Royal Asad x Caressable NA), bred by Silver Box Southwest and owned by Royal Arabians and Al Ameera Stud. Later in the championships, Calais improved his ranking and claimed the Silver medal.

The second and final group of junior colts again produced a clear winner. This time it was the beautiful and typey TTorch (Excalibur EA x Vesperra), bred and owned by the Collins, Smith & Butler partnership. With 91.40 points, he confidently secured the class win and later went on to claim the Gold medal in the championships. Second in this class with 90.50 points was Red Rumm (AJ Radman x Esperranzza), bred by Laura Koch and owned by Ahmad Sabla.

Then it was time for the senior mares — always among the most spectacular classes of the show. The first class of senior mares was highly competitive, with three mares scoring very close to one another. The winner with 90.80 points was HT Lunatica (Dominic M x BM Venecia), bred by Haras Torue and owned by Royal Arabians and Danubius Arabians. Later, in the final championships, she claimed the Silver medal. In second place with 90.70 points was Lahabrianna GRK (Lahab Albidayer x Hafatianna GRK), bred by Gary Kehl and owned by Orrion Farms. Lahabrianna achieved the same total score as the third-placed mare but was ranked second due to her higher score for type. She later went on to take the Bronze medal in the championships.

The show continued with the final class of senior mares. The winner with 91.60 points was Evett Magic (SMA Magic One x Evolett), bred by Zalia Arabians and owned by The Aria Partners LLC. She later claimed the Gold medal in the final championships. Second in this class with 90.90 points was RD Quianna (Shanghai EA x PCF Crystal Vision), bred by Murray and Shirley Popplewell and owned by Rae-Dawn Arabians.

The final classes of the day were the senior stallions —

always a highlight of the show. Stallions representing both the future of the breed and those who have already established their names competed at the highest level. The winner of the first class with an outstanding score of 91.80 points was Lughan HVP (HDF Lugano x Princess Marwan HVP), bred by Haras Vila Dos Pinheiros and owned by The Aria Partners. Later in the championships, he claimed the Silver medal. Second in this class with 91 points was Mansur Palazzotto (FA El Rasheem x Almalika), bred by Paolo Capecci and owned by Arabians International. He later secured the Bronze medal.

Before the final class of the day, it was time for the Hunter Pleasure Championship, which featured a large and competitive field. The winner was SRW Gotta Bugatti (KM Bugatti x SRW Goddess of Gazal), bred by Karen and Kathy Macleay and owned by Jill Contreras. The Silver medal went to Tamar Leia Organa (Tamar Dark Vader x Tamar Valkyrie), bred by Tamara Hanby and owned by Tom Hansen.

The Bronze medal was awarded to Kayde VH (KM Bugatti x Aristokayte), bred by Michael and Indira Van Handel and owned by Diane Athey.

The final class of the day was Senior Stallions B. The winner with 91 points — and later Gold medal champion — was Shaman Al Areeb (Excalibur EA x Morjana Al Nawasi), bred by Al Areeb Stud and owned by Al Hamdan Stud. Second with 90.80 points was Ernando AA (Emerald J x H Embrace H), bred and owned by Aspire Arabians.

As the first Americas chapter of the season, Scottsdale marked a defining milestone in the continued expansion of the Global Champions Arabians Tour. By uniting world-class bloodlines, passionate breeders, and an engaged new audience, the Tour strengthened its presence across continents. Following this successful American stage, the Tour now returns to the Middle East for its next destination in Muscat, where the momentum of the 2026 season continues to build. q

2026 - CELEBRATING 71 YEARS

To say that the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is “The Greatest Horse Show on Earth” is quite a claim, but don’t take our word for it, ask those who have been attending the show since its early years, and they will happily share their opinions. Everyone remembers their first Scottsdale show, and for many, it is the beginning of their journey with Arabian horses. Long-time Arabian horsewoman, Roxann Hart of Rohara Arabians, immediately recalled that her first trip to Scottsdale was to show her young grey mare, Ivanhoe Tsultress. She remembered there were 96 horses in the class, and famed horseman Peter Cameron was the judge. He placed Tsultress first in her class. Later, in her career, she was named 1980 U.S. National Reserve Champion Futurity Champion and 1981 U.S. National Champion Mare. Ivanhoe Tsultress was just one of many horses to be named Scottsdale Champion and later go on to be named U.S. National Champion.

Arabian horse breeders and owners from around the world agree that Scottsdale is THE place to see the creme de la creme of the breed, and winning a Scottsdale Championship title remains a coveted honor. According to the show’s organizers, there was an outstanding number of entries again this year and the consensus among the judges was that the quality was spectacular.

“It has been a true pleasure and honor to work with the dedicated AAHA board of directors, executive director, staff, and countless volunteers who work tirelessly to make this show the huge success that it is. You are who make this show GREAT! ”

The incredible numbers of horses, their versatility, their extraordinary quality and beauty, the amazing presentations from the skilled riders and handlers are what bring spectators back year after year. Visitors numbered over 175,000 this year! In addition to the extraordinary equines, the Scottsdale show hosts a luxury shopping experience with over 250 artisans and boutique retailers offering exclusive design and fashion for you, your home, or horse.

The stands were packed for the Sunday morning Championship finals, including the exciting and lucrative Scottsdale Signature Stallion Yearling Auction championships where thousands of dollars in prize money were awarded to the champions and top ten horses of the classes. A fun and interesting fact is that many of the horses in these classes were bred, owned, and shown by their amateur owners, which added tremendously to the excitement of the classes.

It is a singular experience to sit ringside at the Scottsdale show, especially for the final championships, when the Arizona sun is shining brightly and the brisk air is full of electricity. The horses feel it too, the excitement of the competition, the open gate, the large arena, the cheers from the stands, all inspire the horses to make a grand entrance and show

themselves to the admiring crowds. There is nothing more captivating than a proud, confident, happy Arabian horse.

Among the horses showing were veterans of the ring including past National and International Champions. Breeders and owners from abroad also know and understand the importance of a Scottsdale Championship title. For decades breeders from the Middle East, Australia, Europe, and South America, especially from Brazil and Argentina, have brought their horses to Scottsdale to compete, and to promote their breeding programs, and

their stallions. It is always a welcoming place for breeders to come together to share ideas, to learn from each other, and work together to improve and preserve the breed for future generations. AAHA looks forward to welcoming you to next year’s show. Join us February 11-21, 2027.

Ilaria Franza

The cycle of life between nature, memory and transformation

In the contemporary painting scene, Ilaria Franza’s work stands out for its intimate and meditative poetics, capable of enveloping the viewer in a suspended, dreamlike and deeply welcoming dimension. Her works appear light, almost ethereal, and convey a sense of tranquillity that immediately puts the observer at ease. There is never any tension, but rather a vibrant calm, a silent presence that invites contemplation and slowing down.

The birthplace of this research is fundamental: the shores of Lake Orta, in northern Italy, where the artist works immersed in silence and nature. This context is not just a backdrop, but a living, interactive presence. Between May and September, when the natural rhythm is most intense, her works are created, exclusively outdoors.

Painting thus becomes a seasonal act, a gesture that respects and follows the cycle of nature, a process that cannot be separated from the surrounding environment. The climate, light, wind and sounds of the landscape become invisible but essential elements of the work.

Franza likes to describe herself as a “harvester of works”. This image effectively conveys her vision: every year is different, just like wine. The colours, textures and chromatic intensities change. Time, experiences and the artist’s inner state influence the final result. There is no repetition, only continuous evolution. Painting is gathering, waiting, listening. It is a process that requires presence, patience and a deep connection with what is happening inside and outside.

The working day follows a precise ritual. In the morning, the canvas is laid on the ground, exposed to the sun. At this initial moment, the artist

imagines the colour already completed. There is no randomness, but a mental and sensitive design. The works are reasoned, meditated on at length before the act of painting. During the day, the colour moves and transforms. Franza intervenes with light, small, almost imperceptible movements, or with more sudden and intuitive gestures. The hands are the main tool: direct contact with the material becomes fundamental in guiding and accompanying change.

The unexpected, however, remains central. It is the moment when we rediscover ourselves in the face of the unforeseen, as happens in life. This dimension of surprise is not endured, but welcomed. The artist suggests a positive view of existence: the important thing is to approach every experience with openness and trust. Her works reflect this attitude, becoming spaces for visual meditation.

For Franza, painting is a form of meditation and

mental work. Every gesture is conscious, every choice is linked to an inner process. The colour tones arise from personal experiences and emotions. The artist lets herself be carried away by colours, mixing them and listening to them. Her hands guide the movement, creating vibrant and dynamic surfaces that are never static.

A distinctive element of her work is the round shape. This choice stems from a long process of experimentation and a deep need to eliminate the superfluous. The circle becomes essential, symbolic, universal. It represents cyclicality, completeness, continuity. Within this shape, the fullest part takes on a particular meaning: it evokes first times, the initial experiences of life, those that remain etched in our memory and build our identity.

The works invite us to ask ourselves existential questions: where am I in my life? How many new experiences can I still have? In this sense, painting

becomes a space for reflection on time, change and the possibility of rebirth.

Observing Ilaria Franza’s works means entering into an expanded time, a fertile silence. It is an invitation to slow down, to reconnect with nature and with oneself. Her art does not impose, but accompanies. It does not describe, but suggests. It does not represent, but makes one feel. In an age dominated by speed and noise, this meditative painting presents itself as a gesture of poetic resistance, a practice of listening and presence, capable of restoring colour to its deepest and most spiritual dimension.

EQUESTRIAN WORLD PROTECTION

THOSE WHO LOVE, PROTECT. TO PROTECT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FORM OF THE VERB 'TO LOVE. Bruno ferrero

PROTOCOLLO OPERATIVO:

PRECISIONE IN TRE FASI

Over the years, often, in a simplistic way, the insurance consultant has been identified with the one who finds the best insurance solution at the most advantageous cost. Our approach to risk, on the contrary, brings consultancy to a preventative and preventive element primary: only at a later time, and whenever there is a need, we carry out the insurance contract as the final deadline a complex technical path of analysis regarding the needs of the customer, be it a natural person, company or public body. Therefore, pursuing the user’s interest, if necessary, we negotiate insurance coverage with the primary companies Italian and foreign.

OUR ADDED VALUE

With a view to providing an integrated and complete service, we collaborate with brokers, lawyers, experts, and with professionals specialized in particular sectors of intervention, which allow us to provide a service qualitative.

We thus support you in a complex, constantly evolving market where they already exist important consultants. But we bring with us an added value: our passion for this sector and our specialist expertise they provide the correct answers to your needs, without losing sight

THE SOCIAL VALUE OF INSURANCE, essential aspect.

OPERATIONAL PROTOCOL: PRECISION IN THREE PHASES.

The establishment and maintenance of the professional relationship with the customers are explained in the following operational phases:

PHASE 1- RISK AND INSURANCE

PORTFOLIO

ANALYSIS IN BE:

Together with the Client, also with possible external support from risk managers, evaluation and preventive estimate company, specialized experts and lawyers, we proceed with an in-depth analysis of the company’s characteristic activity, or professional activities performed, to identify risk areas existing. This study is the basis for then analyzing the contracts in detail existing insurance policies, with particular attention to the guarantees and clauses that compose them, to optimize everything, also the economic aspect of each policy.

PHASE 2- DEFINITION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STRATEGIC PROGRAMME:

- Definition of an insurance programme whose aim is to optimise the level of cover of each policy, in both legal and economic terms, through cooperation with leading Italian and foreign insurance companies.

- Analysis, assessment and decision, in agreement with the client, on the ways in which the proposed insurance cover should be implemented.

- Management of insurance contracts and of any claims, even if not settled.

- Periodic preparation of summary reports on the status of the insurance portfolio.

- Constant monitoring of the insurance contracts. We update these contracts so that their content remains pertinent over time, based on the evolution of the activities insured, as the risks increase or decrease and as law provisions change.

PHASE 3- CLAIMS MANAGEMENT.

The occurrence of a claim and its management through to its settlement is the moment when the efficacy and efficiency of the insurance solutions chosen are validated. Such is the importance of this stage that we have set up an office to manage it, with a lawyer and specialised personnel who deal every day with the relationships between the client and lawyers, adjusters and experts involved in the damages compensation process.

So how can we easily understand the role of insurance to pay for damage when it occurs is crucial. But equally important is also to aim to prevent or at least reduce risks. In fact, avoiding harmful events allows more serene activities, for operators in the sector and for those who practice horseback riding, for example not falling into long and complex lawsuits, through protocols and management practices about which we will keep You informed.

Therefore we carry out
