Pride of Poland & Summer Sale 2026
Below is a summary of the key provisions governing the terms and conditions of the Pride of Poland and Summer Sale 2026 auctions. The full terms and conditions of the auctions are set out in the Auction Regulations, published on the auction’s website www.prideofpoland.eu. In the event of any discrepancy between this document and the Auction Regulations, the provi-sions of the Auction Regulations shall prevail.
1. An Auction Participant may participate in the Auction either in person or through an authorised representative. If an Auction Participant acts through an authorised repre-sentative, the representative shall present an appropriate power of attorney bearing legible signatures (either the original or a copy). The Organiser reserves the right to re-fuse participation in the Auction if such document is not provided.
2. Participation in the Auction is conditional upon reading and accepting the Auction Regulations. By participating in the Auction, the Participant acknowledges and ac-cepts the Auction Regulations.
3. The Participant is required to provide true, complete and up-todate information. The Organiser is entitled to verify the accuracy of such information.
4. In order to participate in the bidding, an Auction Participant shall pay a bid deposit in the amount of EUR 5,000.00 (in words: five thousand euros), regardless of the number of lots the Participant intends to purchase. Failure to pay the bid deposit shall constitute grounds for refusal of admission to the Auction.
The bid deposit may be paid as follows:
a) For On-Live Participants: by bank transfer to the bank account specified by the Organiser on the website www.prideofpoland.eu (in PLN or EUR), or in cash (PLN or EUR), or by cashless payment (PLN or EUR) using a payment termi-nal, provided that the necessary technical facilities for terminal payments are available.
b) For On-Line Participants: through the Equibid online platform.
5. The bid deposit shall be deemed paid if:
a) the payment has been credited to the Organiser’s bank account before the commencement of the Auction, or the payer is able to present a bank document confirming successful payment;
b) the payment has been made using a payment terminal no later than before the commencement of the Auction;
c) the payment has been made in cash to a person designated by the Organiser no earlier than immediately prior to the commencement of the Auction.
6. If an authorised representative (agent) is authorised to act on behalf of more than one Participant in the Auction, only one bid deposit shall be required.
7. In the case of an On-Line Auction, payment of a financial security deposit, referred to as the “Confirmation Payment”, is required. This amount must be paid immediately, and no later than 20 minutes after the Purchase Price has been knocked down, without any possibility of extension. The minimum refundable amount of the Confirmation Payment is specified in the separate Terms and Conditions of the Equibid online plat-form.
8. Payment of the bid deposit entitles the Participant to bid on any lot offered at the Auc-tion. By paying the bid deposit, the Participant undertakes to comply with the Auction Terms and Conditions. The Participant is required to sign the Auction Terms and Conditions during the registration process.
9. The bid deposit serves as security for payment of the Purchase Price and shall be cred-ited towards the Purchase Price.
10. The amount established during the bidding, being the hammer price declared by the Auctioneer, shall be increased by the applicable value added tax (VAT), where re-quired under generally applicable law, at the rates prescribed by such law.
11. If no Transaction is concluded, the bid deposit shall be refunded within 30 days fol-lowing the conclusion of the Auction. The Organiser shall deduct any bank charges incurred in connection with the receipt, refund or transfer of the bid deposit.
12. The bid deposit shall be forfeited if, for reasons attributable to the Buyer, the purchase of the auctioned lot is not completed, in particular where the Buyer fails to pay the outstanding balance of the Purchase Price within 14 days of the Transaction, or within such other period as may be agreed in a contract concluded between the Consignor and the Buyer.
1. Two auctions of Purebred Arabian horses will be held as part of the event:
I. Pride of Poland — 9 August 2026
II. Summer Sale — 10 August 2026
2. The Auctions will be conducted in a hybrid format: On-Line, via the website http://www.equibid.pl; and On-Live, with the simultaneous participation of bidders physically present at the auction venue: Wygoda 3, 21-505 Janów Podlaski, Poland (Janów Podlaski Stud Farm Ltd.).
3. The Auctioneer shall conduct the Auction and, in particular, shall announce the open-ing and closing of the Auction, the commencement and conclusion of each bidding session, coordinate the activities of Participants taking part both On-Line and On-Live (by physical attendance at the auction venue), accept bids submitted during the bid-ding process, announce the bidding increments, declare the successful bidder, and re-solve any disputes concerning the order of bids or any other matters relating to the Auction, including individual bidding sessions.
4. The bidding for each horse offered at the Auction shall commence with the Opening Price.
5. The following bidding increments shall apply during the Auctions:
I. Pride of Poland — EUR 1,000 (one thousand euros); II. Summer Sale — EUR 500 (five hundred euros). The Auctioneer may modify the bidding increments during the course of the bidding. Any such modified increments shall apply to the relevant bidding session.
6. Individual lots may be subject to a reserve price. If the reserve price is not reached during the bidding, no sale transaction shall be concluded. The reserve price shall re-main confidential and shall not be disclosed publicly. The Auctioneer shall announce that the transaction has not been concluded because the reserve price was not reached.
7. The successful Buyer shall be the person whose highest bid is accepted by the Auc-tioneer.
8. The Buyer undertakes to pay the Purchase Price within 14 days of the date of the Transaction or within such other period as may be agreed in a contract concluded be-tween the Consignor and the Buyer.
9. If the Buyer fails to pay all or part of the Purchase Price within 14 days of the date of issuance of the invoice, the Consignor may withdraw from the Transaction within six months following the expiry of the payment deadline.
10. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw any lot or lots from the Auction at any time without stating a reason.
11. The Organiser recommends that Participants inspect each lot in person before bidding at Wygoda 3, 21-505 Janów Podlaski, Poland (Janów Podlaski Stud Farm Ltd.), or re-view the information available at www.prideofpoland.eu. The Organiser will also con-duct a presentation of the lots prior to the commencement of the Auction.
1. Each lot offered at the Auction has a verified pedigree, holds a valid horse passport, and is registered in the Polish Arabian Stud Book (PASB).
2. Each mare offered in foal is accompanied by a breeding certificate and a written veter-inary certificate confirming the date of the most recent examination. The breeding cer-tificate, or a copy thereof, is available for inspection at the Auction Office.
3. A mare offered for sale with a foal at foot (under six months of age at the time of the Auction) may be collected by the Buyer only after the foal has been weaned. Until the mare is collected by the Buyer, it shall remain at the stud farm at the Consignor’s ex-pense. The date of collection shall be agreed between the Consignor and the Buyer.
4. Before placing a bid, the Buyer should review all information made available concern-ing the lot.
5. The Seller’s liability under the statutory warranty for defects shall be governed by the applicable provisions of law and the provisions of the Auction Regulations.
1. The Buyer shall be required to:
• sign the sale and purchase agreement provided by the Organiser immediately after winning the Auction;
• verify their identity by presenting a valid identity document or, where the Buy-er is acting on behalf of a legal entity or business, documents confirming its le-gal status; if the Buyer participates in the Auction via the website http://www.equibid.pl, the Buyer shall, immediately after the conclusion of the Auction, make the required Confirmation Payment.
2. The collection of the lot and all arrangements relating thereto shall be the sole respon-sibility of the Buyer, who shall bear all costs associated with the collection and trans-portation of the lot, including, without limitation, transportation, preparation for transport, and insurance. The place of delivery and collection of the lot shall always be the address designated by the Consignor within the territory of Poland.
3. The risk relating to the purchased lot, including any offspring born after the Auction, shall pass to the Buyer upon the fall of the Auctioneer’s hammer.
4. If the Buyer breaches the provisions of the Auction Regulations, in particular with re-spect to confirmation of the Transaction, payment of the Purchase Price, or collection of the lot, the Organiser shall have the right to cancel the Buyer's purchase and offer the lot to another Auction Participant. The purchase offer shall first be made to the Participant whose bid was the next highest after that of the original Buyer.
5. A horse purchased at the Auction may be collected immediately after the conclusion of the Auction, provided that the full Purchase Price has been paid in cash or by con-firmed bank transfer to the designated bank account.
6. If the Buyer fails to pay the full Purchase Price or fails to collect the lot for reasons at-tributable to the Buyer, the Buyer shall bear all costs associated with the board, safety and preservation of the lot in proper condition.
7. Upon delivery of the lot to the Buyer, the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the lot shall pass to the Buyer.
