‭🔬 Research Proposal / Artist Statement‬

‭Title:‬‭Emotion as Infrastructure: Building Mood Through‬‭Machine and Memory‬

‭ y research investigates the entanglement of artificial intelligence and emotion as an‬ M ‭emerging infrastructure—one that shapes, mirrors, and sometimes replaces human feeling.‬ ‭Centering on the concept of sustainable emotional design, I ask:‬‭How does technology‬ ‭replicate, archive, or rewire the affective landscapes we navigate daily?‬ ‭ sing a hybrid approach that merges video, installation, and digital interaction, I aim‬ U ‭to build an immersive archive of feeling—constructed not just for passive viewing but for‬ ‭audience-generated response. The final work would ideally live within the AGO’s archival‬ ‭space while being activated through public-facing interventions: video projections, sensory‬ ‭installations, and online platforms that generate data from user reactions.‬ ‭ y practice, as @wavesstudi0’s creative director and a current student at Sotheby’s‬ M ‭Institute of Art (Art Business), considers curation as emotional architecture—balancing‬ ‭intimacy and innovation, structure and chaos. I propose collaborations with the AGO’s‬ ‭Curatorial, Archives, and Food & Beverage teams to create a day-and-night public unveiling‬ ‭that stages art as experience and social catalyst. This includes a digital companion platform‬ ‭that supports emerging creatives and is currently being developed in collaboration with‬ ‭engineers from‬‭Artiver‬‭(NYC).‬ ‭ y bridging emotion, machine aesthetics, and curatorial strategy, this project aligns‬ B ‭with the theme of Futurism—not as fantasy, but as a reimagining of how we feel together in‬ ‭mediated spaces.‬
