A new setting and enhanced experience Jalsa Salana Germany 2024 is just around the corner, scheduled to take place next week from 23-25 August in Mendig, a small town in Rhineland-Palatinate, approximately 25 km (15 miles) west of Koblenz. This year’s Jalsa will be held in an open-air field for the first time in nearly 20 years and, inshaAllah, will offer a brand-new yet familiar experience. With the ongoing construction of the tent city, Jamaat Germany is working tirelessly, combining efforts around the clock to ensure everything is prepared before the arrival of the guests of the Promised Messiahas. Al Hakam reached out to Ilyas Majoka Sahib, Afsar Jalsa Salana Germany, who provided detailed updates about this year’s convention. Majoka Sahib reported that as of 10:30 am on 14 August, with the main marquees nearly fully installed, the Waqare-Amal team is operating at full capacity, bringing vibrant energy and activity to the Jalsa preparations.

He mentioned that while Jamia students are already involved, numerous others from across Germany are also joining to benefit from the blessings of Waqf-e-Arzi. Hence, approximately 300 additional volunteers are contributing, dedicating two weeks to

ّٰ َّ َ ْ َ ﺎس رﺿﻰ ا��� ﻋﻨﻬﻤﺎ ٍ ﻋ ِﻦ اﺑ ِﻦ ﻋﺒ ّ ََ ّٰ ّ ّٰ َ أ ّن َر ُﺳﻮل ا��� ﺻﻠﻰ ا��� �ﻠﻴﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ َ َ ً ّٰ ََ ﻟ ّﻤﺎ ﺑ َ َﻌﺚ ُﻣ َﻌﺎذا رﺿﻰ ا��� ﻋﻨﻪ َ�ﻠﻰ ْ َ ْ َ َ َّ َ َ َْ َ َ ِإﻧﻚ ﺗﻘﺪ ُم َ�ﻠﻰ ﻗ ْﻮ ٍم أﻫ ِﻞ:اﻟ َﻴ َﻤ ِﻦ ﻗﺎل َ ُ ُ َْ َ ََ ُ ْ َ َ ﻓﻠ َﻴﻜ ْﻦ أ ّول َﻣﺎ ﺗﺪﻋﻮ� ْ� ِإﻟ ْﻴ ِﻪ،ﺎب ٍ ﻛِﺘ ُ ْ َ َ َّ ُ َ َ َ ّ ٰ ُ َ َ �ْ ��ْ �ِ ﻓ ِﺈذا ﻋ َﺮﻓﻮا ا�� َ� ﻓﺄﺧ،���ﺎدة ا ِﻋﺒ َ َ َ ْ َ ّٰ َ َ َ أ ّن ا��� ﻗﺪ ﻓ َﺮض َ�ﻠ ْﻴ�ِ ْ� ﺧ ْﻤ َﺲ َ َ َ َ َ َ ﻓ ِﺈذا،�ْ ِ�ات �ِ� ﻳ َ ْﻮ ِﻣ�ِ ْ� َوﻟ ْﻴﻠ ِﺘ ٍ �َ �ﺻ ُ َ َ َ ّٰ َ َ ُ ْ َ َ ُ َ �ْ � ﻓﺄﺧ ِ� ْ�� ْ� أ ّن ا��� ﻓ َﺮض َ�ﻠ ْﻴ،ﻓ َﻌ��ا َ ُ َ ُْ ً َ َ َ ُ ُ ز�ﺎة }ﺗﺆﺧﺬ{ ِﻣ ْﻦ أ ْﻣ َﻮاﻟِ�ِ ْ� َوﺗ َﺮ ّد َ�ﻠﻰ ُ ْ َُ َُ ُ ََ َ َ ،�ْ � ﻓ ِﺈذا أﻃﺎﻋﻮا ﺑِ َﻬﺎ ��ﺬ ِ� ْﻨ،�ْ ِ�ِﻓﻘ َﺮاﰱ َ َّ َ َوﺗ َ َﻮ َّق َﻛ َﺮاﰱ َﻢ أ ْﻣ .ﺎس اﻟﻨ ال ﻮ ِ ِ ِ Hazrat Ibn Abbasra narrates, “When Allah’s Messengersa sent Mu‘azra to Yemen, he said, ‘You are going to a people of the Book. Let the first thing you call them to, be the worship of Allah. Once they recognise Allah, then inform them that Allah has prescribed five prayers for them in their day and night. Once they start performing these prayers, then tell them that Allah has also made Zakat obligatory upon them, [which is to be taken] from their wealth and given to their needy. Once they agree to this, then take it from them, but avoid taking the best of people’s wealth.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab as-zakat, Bab la tu’khadhu karaimu amwali n-nasi fi s-sadaqat, Hadith 1458)
