Guidance to new missionaries: Huzoor addresses graduates of Jamia Ahmadiyya at the 2025 convocation ceremony On Sunday, 4 May 2025, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, may Allah be his Helper, graced the Jamia Ahmadiyya convocation ceremony – including graduates from UK, Germany, Canada and Ghana – held on Jamia Ahmadiyya UK campus in Haslemere. This year, graduates of 3 Jamias received their Shahid’s degrees from Hazrat
Khalifatul Masih Vaa; 14 graduates from Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada (class of 2024), 16 from Jamia Ahmadiyya Germany (class of 2024), 18 from Jamia Ahmadiyya UK (class of 2024). 24 graduates of Jamia Ahmadiyya Ghana (class of 2025) were presented their degrees with the permission of Huzooraa by the Amir of Ghana, Noor Mohammed Bin Salih Sahib.
The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Faris Ahmad Nasim Sahib, who recited verses 160-164 of Surah al-An‘am, and Hafiz Syed Abdul Hadi Sahib presented the Urdu translation. Abdul Haye Sarmad Sahib was then called to recite an Urdu poem written by Hazrat Musleh-eMaudra. Continued on page 3

Two sajdahs for sahw or forgetting during prayer
ّٰ ُ َّ َ َّ َ َ َ َّ َ َ ���اﻟﻨ ِ� ّ� ﺻﻠﻰ ا ﻗﺎل ﺻﻠﻰ ﺑِﻨﺎ،�ِ ��ﻋ ْﻦ ﻋ ْﺒ ِﺪ ا َ َّ َ ُّ َ َ َ َ �ِ� �ﻠﻴﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ اﻟﻈ ْ� َﺮ ﺧ ْﻤ ًﺴﺎ ﻓ ِﻘﻴﻞ أ ِزﻳﺪ اﻟﺼ�� ِة ُ َ َ َ َ َ َ َ َّ َ َ ﻗﺎل� َو َﻣﺎ ذاك� ﻗﺎﻟﻮا َﺻﻠ ْﻴﺖ ﺧ ْﻤ ًﺴﺎ� ﻓ َﺴ َﺠﺪ َّ َْ َ َ َ �� ْ�ﺪﺗ� ِ� ﺑ َ ْﻌﺪ َﻣﺎ َﺳﻠ َﻢ Hazrat Abdullah ibn Mas‘udra reports, “The Holy Prophetsa once led us in Zuhr and performed five rak‘at. Someone asked, ‘Has the prayer been increased?’ He replied, ‘What do you mean?’ They said, ‘You offered five rak‘at.’ So, after concluding the prayer with salam, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness [sujud as-sahw]. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab akhbari l-ahad, Bab ma ja’a fi ijazati khabari l-wahidi s-saduqi fi l-adhani wa s-salati wa s-sawmi wa l-fara’idi wa l-ahkam, Hadith 7249)

Falsehood darkens a person’s heart Momentarily and temporarily man may see some benefit, but in reality, the heart of man is darkened if he adopts a way of falsehood, and termites, as it were, begin to eat away at him from within. To cover one lie, a person must then conjure many more lies because the initial lie must be made to appear as if it were the truth. It is in this way that one’s moral and spiritual faculties begin to wither away from within, until finally one becomes so bold and impudent that he begins to forge lies against God Almighty as well, and will reject the Messengers of God and those divinely commissioned by Him, after which he is deemed ‘the most unjust’ or azlam, just as God Almighty states:
َۡ َ َ َۡ َ ٰ َ� َ َ َ �ٰ َ ُف ََم ۡن ْاﻇَل ُۡم ِِم �َم ِن ْاُف� ٰ�َي ََعٰلي ْالَّل َِه ﻛ ِِذ ًُبا ْا ۡو ﻛِذ ََب ُِبا ٰي َِت ُٖه
Meaning, who can be more unjust than the person who forges a lie and untruth against Allah the Exalted, or rejects His signs? Remember that falsehood is a most evil affliction and that it destroys a person. What could be a more grave consequence of Continued on page 3
