‘Strive to achieve the pinnacle of your chosen path’ Huzoor addresses Waqifeen-e-Nau at UK Ijtema 2026 On Sunday, 26 April 2026, at approximately 5 pm local time, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V, may Allah be his Helper, presided over the UK Waqf-eNau Ijtema 2026 at Islamabad, Tilford, UK. After conveying assalamu alaikum, Huzoor (aa) invited Ehsan Ahmad Sahib to recite a portion of the Holy Quran – Surah ar-Ra’d, Ch.13: V.20-23. Ghaalib Khan Sahib then presented the English translation of these verses. Abdul Haye Sarmad Sahib subsequently recited an Urdu poem of the Promised Messiah (as), followed by its English translation presented by Frasat Cheema Sahib. Hazrat Amirul Momineen (aa) then invited Abdul Quddus Arif Sahib, Secretary Waqf-e-Nau UK, to present the Ijtema report. He expressed his gratitude to Huzoor (aa) for gracing the occasion with his esteemed presence and for the opportunity to hold the ijtema in Islamabad. He stated that the participants were divided into age-based groups, each participating in its respective activities. َ ُ َ َ ّٰ ُ َ َ َ ﻋ ْﻦ أ�ِ� ﻫ َﺮﻳْ َﺮة رﺿﻰ ا��� ﻋﻨﻪ ﻗﺎل � ِ� ْﻌﺖ ٰ ّ ّ ُ َّ اﻟﻨ ِ� َّ� ﺻﻠﻰ ا��ّ� �ﻠﻴﻪ وﺳﻠﻢ ﻳ َ ُﻘﻮل� َﻣ ْﻦ ُ َ َ ُ َ ّٰ َ �� �ْ�أَﻧْ َﻔ َﻖ َز ْو َﺟ ﻴﻞ ا��� َدﻋ ْﺘﻪ ﺧ َﺰﻧﺔ ﺒ ﺳ ِ ِ ِ ِ َ َ ْ َ ُ َ َ َ َ َّ ُ َ ُ ُ ْ َ َّ َ ْ ا��ﻨ ِﺔ أى ﻓﻞ ﻫﻠﻢ� ﻓﻘﺎل أﺑﻮ ﺑﻜ ٍﺮ� ذاك َّ َ ََ ّ ٰ ّ ُ َّ َ َ ���اﻟﻨ ِ� ّ� ﺻﻠﻰ ا اﻟ ِﺬي �� ﺗ َﻮى َ�ﻠ ْﻴ ِﻪ� ﻗﺎل ُ َ �ُ َ �ﻠﻴﻪ وﺳﻠّﻢ� أ َ ْر ُﺟﻮ أ َ ْن ﺗ ��ْ ��ن ِ� ْﻨ Hazrat Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated: “I heard the Prophet (sa) say, ‘Whoever spends a pair [of anything] in the way of Allah will be called by the gatekeepers of Paradise, who will say, “O so-and-so, come here!”’ Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) said, ‘Such a person is one who will suffer no loss.’ The Prophet (sa) said, ‘I hope that you will be among them.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab bada’i l-khalq, Bab dhikri l-mala’ikah, Hadith 3216)

Sympathy for humanity The Promised Messiah (as) states: “My state of affairs is that whilst engaged in Prayer if someone is in pain and their cry reaches my ears, I feel moved to go to their aid and give them sympathy insofar as possible, even if I am compelled to break my Prayer. It is against the principles of morality to not stand by a brother who is in pain and distress. If you can do nothing else, at least pray for them. What to talk of our own, I even say that you ought to show the same example of morality and sympathy to Hindus and others. One must not possess a thoughtless nature.
