As the camp was burned and its traces were erased, the main concept of the project is to bring back its existence to the visitor of the memorial through series of experiences connected to what happened at the location and generally to Roman population. By leaving outside physical condition of the side untouched and going underground in the footprints of the camp the memorial highlights the fact that truth was hidden for such a long time In other words, creating scars in the ground, which would stay as a permanent reminder about what has been done to the Roma people.
